Great location for access to RER/Metro,neighborhood restaurants, low noise level, near-by little store with those essentials(converter), and excellent desk help. Rooms are small, but met our needs. Great beakfast room.

I stayed there with 2 other women and felt welcomed and safe, the rooms are small but clean, with a hair dryer and a tv, open the window and look out on the street, bicycles lined up, and seeing the people walk to work in the morning, just down the street is the most wonderful boulienger with almond crossaints and cafe' cream...ahhh I want more, the staff at the desk was most helpful, maps, calling cabs, and getting info for sightseeing, would love to return again, but would stay in another part of Paris for a different experience. And there is a safe in the room, good for passports, medicines, and extra cash, great location, bon jour!!

The rooms were small (as expected) but we had a nice littel terrace overlooking the street. The hotel staff was very helpful and everyone spoke english very well. I would stay here again for sure.

Great location, good for short stays--Don't forget the free breakfast! It's a small boutique hotel that has a small front desk and a computer in the lobby. The rooms are also tiny, but that's typical of European hotels. I stayed here for 4 days with one other person and that was perfect. I would not recommend this hotel for parties larger than 2 or 3. It gets cramped fast. They do have larger rooms, but they will be small. I loved the windows that open outward and give you a beautiful view of the street. The room was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but it smelled strongly of smoke when we entered. It took us 2-3 days to clear out the smell. The elevator holds 2 people max, so we used the stairs a lot. The cleaning staff came in and changed the towels every day and made the beds, which was nice. The linens were clean, the bathroom was clean, but small. The only setback was that there were bugs on the floor from time to time, otherwise no bites or weird happenings. The location is ideal since it's wedged between the fun activities in the Latin Quarter and the academic scene of the Sorbonne. I felt safe when I stayed here.

First, the service at the hotel went far above and beyond expectations. If we were discussing plans in the lobby, the desk person would politely offer suggestions or to make reservations. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. I spent early mornings having coffee in the lobby and receiving a great education on the French culture from the staff. The location was very convenient. Our group consisted of three females, and we felt incredibly safe in this part of the city. Near the Sorbonne, we usually walked to our destinations and took a cab back at the end of the day. It had a true French feeling, and we got an incredible deal on our room when we booked through the hotel's site. Fabulous.

Room carpet very old; employees at the reception desk not always useful, rarely kind to us; the location is excellent. final bill does not show the full amount paid since it does not include the prepayment
