While the employee was very helpful, as our reservation did not show up on his computer, the room itself was pretty sad, very small, very thin walls, and not very tidy. Fairly convenient to Montparnass, and very close to a Metro stop

If you need a cheap hotel, no lujury, Cactus it´s OK, about 30 min walking from Eiffel Tower and one block from a subway station. Quit location, but don´t expect a great breakfast.

Four of us stayed in two rooms that had an outer door to close. One room had toilet, sink and shower the other had just sink and bidet. The shower really needs a new shower head as most of the water ran down the hose instead of out the head. The bedspreads were pretty dirty, but the sheets were clean. Just enough space to set suitcases on the floor by beds. No lift, but only two floors. Near to metro stops. We didn't explore the area near the hotel very much, only there for two nights so we were busy out seeing sights all day long. Basic breakfast of croissant and small baguette, with juice and coffee or chocolate. If you need a room for four together it was a good place. My son speaks French, but I think Marie does fairly well with English if she is at the reception.
