Great Location This hotel is in a great location: steps from the Metro, great cafes, and parks. HOtel was going thru renovations that we were not told about and they made us change rooms midway thru our stay...to a lesser room. The staff was very nice, except one lady, and the location made up for the renovations.

management is lacking.very nice employees Everyone is very nice and wants to help and is responsive to requests. There is however a series of mistakes (cleanliness, lock repeatedly not working, forgetting requests etc.)that seems to point at a lack of clear directions from management. Traveler's tip on dining many good "brasseries" nearby.

I accidently left my prescription reading glasses in my hotel room. Once home, I emailed the hotel 4 seperate occasions and called the hotel requesting they send my glasses. They promised they would send. I followed up with two more emails. To date, I have not received the glasses.

Great Location, Friendly Staff, Affordable Rates This hotel was the perfect for my boyfriend and I who spent 9 nights here while vacationing in Paris. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was exactly what we were expecting. It is a small, very American-like hotel with a friendly, English-speaking staff that is willing to help. The room was a good size for European standards. We had all the amenities one would have in an American hotel. Our room faced the courtyard and so we had minimal street noise. I must note, however, that the neighboring building that was attached was under construction and that often was an annoyance (though we were very rarely in our room to hear it). The television had only 10 channels and most were in French but we were happy to discover that we had CNN/BBC news in English - a comfort in the morning while getting ready to go out for the day. The hotel was able to provide an American outler adapter since we did not bring one with us. Overall, I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone looking to be centrally located and very comfortable without burning a hole in the wallet. Traveler's tip on local attractions The location is perfect as it is only a short walk to the Eiffel Tower and the River Seine at the Pont Alexandre. The area (7th arrondissement) is a quiet, residential neighborhood with lots of locals and the hotel is surrounded by great corner cafes and bakeries. There is a metro station on the corner. It is also a short walk to the RER station at Invalides where you can get a train that will take you direct to Versailles.

The hotel bedroom was absolutely tiny. The bed was also a very small double bed. The lift in the hotel was a bit dodgy. the door wouldnt open on one occasion. the hotel staff had to open it for us from the outside. However, the hotel was superbly located. the Eiffel Tower was only around the corner and the metro was very close

+ The neighborhood was very nice. The hotel was close to good resturants. - Too much furniture for a small room. If you're stuck with a small room, don't furnish it as if it were a suite.
