A Best Western? - Possibly The Worst Hotel In Paris! Try the Brittany Hotel in the same district. It's different class.

Near to Hard Rock Cafe this Hotel has nice small rooms and is in the heart of the city. Not far from the railwaystation and close to Gaultier. It`s only 5 minutes from the Hard Rock Cafe and the have a cheap shutle service to the airport (12,- Euro/ person). We take it on the way back home and the next time me make booking from home.

+ Very kind and helpful english-speaking staff, very good breakfast! It is also good that they have lagguage storage!

Best Western Axel Opera In general it was satisfactory apart from a couple of things like broken hear dryer and towel dryer, no curtain in bathroom for the first couple of days and huge fridge at the reception lunge all the time of staying there. Personal were really friendly and helpful.

After arriving we were very pleased with the standard/price. Great to have tea facilities, wine glasses, fridge, and English newspaper available. Service was inconsistent with refills, but linen spotlessly white. On the second day I just happened to read the small print notice on the back of the door and realised that probably tax and breakfast were not included. Checked at the Reception and found our Total Price quoted did not include a daily tax(minimal) or breakfasts which were expensive for what you got. They seemed to run out of things continually. We used the very handy-supermarket for the remaining days, and reminded ourselves to always check if it states taxes and breakfasts included.

Do not stay here. They wouldn't allow me to leave the hotel (held my passport) until I paid them a second time for my stay. Completely pathetic.

good value for money, modern rooms, efficient staff, convenient location - would stay there again

A very nice clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. It is in a particularly varied and interesting part of Paris with lots of lively bars restaurants and theatres close by.

Not greatly Impressed I thought the staff were not very firendly. the roosm were incredibly small and the lift was the size of a wardrobe! Whilst the room was clean it smelt damp. I had requested a taxi as I had a specific train to catch the next mornign. They forgot to order one and couldn't seem able to order another so I found myself running to a taxi rank in the rain. Consequently I missed my train.
