Great location If you have a little one like we did don't bring the stroller on the metro. At times it got very crowded and it was hard to squeeze on. Plus you have to walk up and down plenty of stairs at each metro station. We did bring a small umbrella stroller with one of us on each side carrying the baby up and down stairs. It seemed to work out but at times in the crowd it was difficult.

Great location!!! Located right in the middle of the Latin Quarter, just across the river from Notre Dame. VERY central to restaurants, shops, museums, and bus lines. Hotel room & bathroom were very small, but not a big deal if you’re out all day. Staff was very courteous and helpful; spoke good engligh as well. Great price and great location...would stay here again! Traveler's tip on local attractions Strongly recommend the open bus tour...you can hop on and off and it goes by all of the major attractions!

Great location The staff was friendly and laid back. The hotel was a decent size for european standards. I would say the majority of the staff spoke english quite well. The breakfast was 13 euros...I would say skip it and go to the market/grocery store a block and a half down St. Micheal. Overall the best thing about this hotel was the location. The Seine was a 5 minute walk away and the Pantheon was 5-8 minutes. Metro was about a 3-4 minute walk. If you have a little one like we did don’t bring the stroller on the metro. At times it got very crowded and it was hard to squeeze on. Plus you have to walk up and down plenty of stairs at each metro station. We did bring a small umbrella stroller with one of us on each side carrying the baby up and down stairs. It seemed to work out but at times in the crowd it was difficult.

This is very budget hotel. The bathroom smelled like mold, and the bedspread was not very clean. However, the location is great, and the front desk staff are very friendly.

Renovated grand façade belies basic interior of B&B in quiet part of animated entertaining part of town.Portentous 4-storey beige terraced sandstone 19th-century building with ironwork at recessed windows. Grandiose entrance flanked by stone columns and vast urns with plants. Renovated 1999.Lurid and simple. Narrow reception with dark grey wooden desk; glass wall onto inner sunken patio. Small sitting area with some tables, dominated by red wine material on walls, 2 large drinks dispensers and stretched shiny beige sheeting on ceiling. Sitting area with TV. Simple breakfast room"

The rooms are small and the bathrooms even smaller, but the location is very good, close to the metro and places of interest. The breakfast is good and the staff helpfull. The reception is clean and modern but the rooms, hallways and stairwells are a bit run down. eg, torn carpets on the stairs patched up with tape. This the second time we have stopped there and we would stop there again,E

Tres bien! This hotel is in a fantastic location for touring the Left Bank and Latin Quarter. It seems to be 5 minutes from everywhere! Bus and metro on the doorstep and Notre Dame is 10 minutes walk away. Tiny room but had everything necessary, including a balcony. We didn't have breakfast there as there are a dozen cafe's in walking distance for a cafe au lait & croissant. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location Great location in the heart of Latin Corridors. Easy walking to distance to yummy food. Very small rooms, elevator barely fit me and my partner. 30 minute walk to the louvre. 2 minute walk from the metro & RER. Staff was friendly but very European. Ideal location for young people, great night life. Just remember you are in Paris you are not paying for a grand hotel but for a great location.
