I recently went to Paris and stayed at Hotel Bel-Ami, a luxurious and modern hotel. The hotel was in very good condition and also just fun to be in. The rooms were very luxurious and the beds were very comfortable and soft.

To start on the positive side, the hotel was well placed in the Paris left bank. However,some incidents really messed up our stay and there's no way those people are seeing my money again!

The rates at this hotel are in line with other 4 star choices in the city. I pay usually around 1500-1650 FRF. Service is OK, the typical French cold attitude, which I have come to expect.

I am from Koln (Germany) and I had a Business trip in Paris and this hotel, situated in the famous St Germain district (a "chic" district), is a must for your stay in Paris. As I arrived here I was surprised by the kindness of the staffs. I was a little bit lost as I arrived in Paris, and the staffs didn't hesitate to help me during my arrival.

We liked the fact that we were close to everything. We didn't need to use the Metro because we liked to walk to the Seine and other places that were close. The outdoor cafes were great and the history of the area was facinating.

I liked the hotel a lot: great Location, helpful staff, good breakfast and nice bed. One disappointment was the quality of towels. May be they were new but the didn't absorb water and had too much lint that caused allergy.
