This is a nice hotel. Nice room with a nice bathroom, convenient location (near the Rue Oberkampf area). Very friendly and helpful staff. The main drawback is that it is right on a street with lots of traffic (Avenue Permentier). But with the windows closed, it was not really very noisy. But in hot weather, it might be a problem.

this was our first time in paris and it was a decent location, close to the metro for budget travel. we enjoyed the staff. rooms were clean and cleaned everyday. wireless internet is available for 4 euros for 4 hours. overall stay was pleasant and would highly recommend to others.

The breakfast is not included in the price. You must tell them when you check-in if you want breakfast. (It is not worth the 6 euro). We were not able to eat breakfast the first day but were still charged. The front of the hotel is very noisy. Without air conditioning, we were not able to open our window due to the street noise. It became very warm in our room. The bathroom looked cleaned but smelled of mold and mildew. The room was small but adequate. The location is close to the #3 metro line (in front of McDonalds) but you will have to change lines to get to the tourist spots. Getting back, the #3 line was not well marked and we had to search alittle to find it. Some of the front desk help spoke English and some did not. The ones that spoke English were very helpful. There are several restaurants nearby and it is off the beaten path. If we had a quieter room without the smell, I would stay here again.

It was a nice hotel, for this rate of course...we payed 76€ for a double room. The metro "Parmentier" is really close to the hotel. The rooms were cleaning each day, but the courtains and the blankets were dirty, thanks good the sheets were perfectly cleaned and ironed. The surroundings are ok, it's calmed, you can walk till La Bastille, Council, les halles (10-15 min) Just to sleep in Paris, it is ok, cause when you back, the room is made and cleaned with new towels ah! the wc is into the room. It is a "cheap" hotel but at least clean. buen viaje!

This hotel is a good place to stay if you are on a budget. The hotel itself is great, updated, and clean. The rooms are small but expected for Paris. You are saving money because of the location, which is a metro ride away from everything, not walkable to many places. A couple small places to grab food nearby, and an amazing tiny restaurant about two doors down. I would stay here again if I were traveling on a budget.

Single traveler, I just needed a place to sleep at night so I didn't spend much time in the room but it was everything I was told. Room was clean, bathroom with fresh towel. Employees were very nice and helpfull. One flaw though, there was no hot water in the morning but according to the staff, it was only temporary (heating device broke)

Though there are more beautiful parts of paris and Bastille, this hotel is situated in a pleasant area in walking distance of sites and plenty of good restaurants and shops. It is a pleasant little hotel. The rooms are clean and well provided and the hotel is everything you would expect for the price. The staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful and courteous, there were even boxes of chocolates at reception as it was the Xmas/New Year season. Breakfast is excellent and generous and fantastic value. I will definitely stay there again.
