Excellent Value in Striking Distance Marche and boulangerie (grocery and bakeries) were just a few blocks away so we splurged on dinner, ate in for other meals. Excellent table wine is cheap in france!

Nice Hotel in Paris Suburb Many places in Paris close around 8pm so be sure to get your food shopping done before then. Also be aware that the plugs are different than the ones in America so be sure to bring a 3 Prong Adapter.

Good place to stay enough kitchen equipment to make an evening meal. Nice bistro, fairly priced nearby. We bought a carnet of 10 tube tickets which were cheap and useful. Get the 350 or 351 from CDG Airport to Gare du Nord 1/2 the price of the train (turn R from terminal 3 and walk for around 3 minutes to bus stn.

Will definitely go back My little studio was perfect for me....(the traveler on a budget). Everything was nice new and clean! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. There are several markets and bakeries within walking distance. There's even a laundromat across the street. There are two metro stops within a 2 block radius. I loved it and will go back again. If however you are not familiar with Paris you may think this hotel is a bit too far away from all of the main attractions....but if you don't have a problem learning to navigate the metro system (which is extremely easy!!) then please give this place a chance you'll love it and you'll save a ton of money not having to eat out every night.

Superb value for money Walk around! Paris is not called the city of light for nothing! Everywhere is really well illuminated, and the Louvre looks fantastic at night.

Excellent Value in Striking Distance Brand new suites-only hotel was a fabulous bargain in pricey Paris. Located just one block from the Metro stop and about 4 Km from Gare de Lyon, there was no problem accessing the hotter spots in city. The efficiency kitchen was reasonably stocked except for the lack of dish soap and sponge. Internet access was free both via wifi and ethernet. Optional breakfast pricey. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks Marche and boulangerie (grocery and bakeries) were just a few blocks away so we splurged on dinner, ate in for other meals. Excellent table wine is cheap in france!

Nice Hotel in Paris Suburb This was a nice, spacious, simple hotel near a train stop, a couple of restaurants, and a grocery store. It was in a safe and quiet neighborhood with a (distant) view of the Eiffel Tower. But it does overlook a busy freeway so if you keep the windows open, it can get a little noisy. But if the windows are shut, there is not a noise problem at all. The grocery store is nearby and our room had a mini fridge, a stove, microwave, and sink so we used that to our advantage to save money on food costs. The room is clean and beds are nice(we had a couch/futon and a seperate room with a double bed), but the pillows were a little flat. The bathroom had a tub/hand held shower, but no shower curtain so the floor got pretty wet. But there were plenty of towels that were replaced each day. But the maids have only make the beds and vacuum and didn’t clean much else (like the dishes or garbage). Overall, it was a nice hotel that I would stay in again. Traveler's tip Many places in Paris close around 8pm so be sure to get your food shopping done before then. Also be aware that the plugs are different than the ones in America so be sure to bring a 3 Prong Adapter.
