perfectly situated, clean budget hotel This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel. The location can't be beat, especially for shoppers - you are just a block or two away from Printemps and Galeries Layfette. The Opera is extremely close too, as are metros and buses. The hotel is simple, yet very clean and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. Everyone spoke great english.

Convenient location and reasonable price There is a convenient "PastaPapa'" pizza/pasta restaurant in Rue de Mogador just 5 minutes walk, plus a Monoprix at similar distance.

Clean room and great location! I was quite worried if the hotel is easy to find as I am a single asian gal travelling alone to Paris for shopping. Thank god! The place was quite easy to find after my ride into the city centre on Roissybus from CDG airport. Just about 100m away and tucked neatly behind the Galaries Lafayette Dept Store. Quite good shopping around the area and very safe to walk about and walk back to hotel alone at night. Room size is decent and cleanlines of room and bathroom were good. Room wasn’t noisy even though the hotel was along rue de provence, the road is actually more like an alley, rather than a major road. But however, it is is a wonderful location. Traveler's tip Get into the city centre on Roissybus from CDG airport whihc costs about 8.6 euros per way. Once you got off from th drop-off point alon rue scribe, look around to identify Galaries Lafayette. From where you will see Galeries, walk towards it and the hotel is just right behind Galaries from where you first spotted the dept store.

Very convenient location I had reservations about this hotel in the beginning, since I had read not-so-pleasant reviews of it from other traveler ratings but I took a chance because the price was very good and the location was worth it. That is the selling point of this small and modest hotel that lives up to its 2-star classification. Location, location location. It’s just steps away from Paris’ two biggest department stores so if you’re going to Paris to shop, this is a great hotel to consider. It is also a 2-minute walk from two major Metro stops, the Opera Garnier and a handful of French banks and currency exchange offices, including the American Express exchange office. As for our rooms, they are clean but they smelled dank when I first arrived. Opening the window clears it out and brings in fresh air. The bathroom is very spacious with a clean -- though not immaculate-- shower/bath. The shower runs very hot and strong and is very nice. Toilets were also very clean. Towels are abundant if requested. Our room is also slightly smaller than I expected, but still quite comfortable. Our window had virtually no view. If you’re looking for luxury and lots of space, I don’t recommend this hotel but it is perfect if you want to be in the heart of Paris without paying a hefty price.

Convenient location Take the Roissy bus from/to the CDG airport. Try asian restaurants nearby which are reasonably priced.
