Excellent Location This hotel has an excellent location. The decoration on the room in not very good, it has a very strong cigar smell, the TV are extremely old. But the overall experience was good. Traveler's tip Restaurants already include 15% tip in the check, be careful with that because it doesn’t show in most of them,E

Appealing indulgent B&B in good central part of town. Elegant solid restored 5-storey corner building (1800s). A few rooms with balcony. uxurious and comfortable. Small harmonious mellow lounge with period furniture. Smart reception. Second spacious homely lounge. Impressive polished bar. Cosy breakfast room.

we were warned that 3star hotels in paris maybe a bit 'cramped' room space, and being on a limited budget we decided to take the risk and go 4star,now we will not be going 3 again. excellent central position, excellent breakfasts, excellent friendly service from a small, tasteful decor hotel.

Wonderful experience, centrally located. The staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast very good more on offer than the usual croissant and cereal. The hotel is situated in a quiet street off the Champs Elysees, quiet for February perhaps not so in the summer weeks. We had no problems with noise, however, we did read previous reviews which said guests had problems with noise, we brought our ear plugs but didn't need them! The only complaint would be that we would have preferred a shower in the bath secured to the wall rather than the hand-held one which was fine but we prefer showers. We've stayed at a top hotel in Paris before near the Eiffel Tower, however, we much preferred the cosiness and character of the Amarante. First class. We are a (very fussy) middle-aged couple from Glasgow!!

What a little gem of a hotel, set back from the main road. This hotel is in a fab location and the breakfast is wonderful.

We were so pleased with this lovely little hotel. The location was good because it was close to the subway and within walking distance of the Seine and many attractions (although I found the Champs Elysees a little disappointing - it has become very "touristy" since I was there in 1974) The hotel has a "Parisian" flair and the service was impeccable. Everyone was so eager to accommodate our needs and so friendly. On a whole, we found the Parisians to be very friendly people and we really enjoyed our stay in Paris.

for the 1st night they gave us standard room(as I booked) but it was small and i asked them to change for bigger room and they did it for the same rate :-), I really like the staff they r so friendlly and cooprative for any thing I ask. I took the breakfast twic at the hotel but honstlly not recommended because of no varity and very small area.Every morning I go to Champs Elysées and I take my breakfast there it is really much better and cheaper. I will stay in this hotel again.

Very comfortable and welcoming The hotel is a block from the Arc de Triomphe, less than a block to the Metro station, half block off the Champs Elysees . . . a very good location. Metroprix (a department store with a grocery store in the lower level) was just a couple blocks away on the Champs. It’s open until late at night, and had toiletries, medicine and anything else you might need. The hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly, even with our limited French. We would certainly stay there again. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable, but showing some wear in the bathroom. Four thumbs up (four adults in two rooms)! Traveler's tip on local attractions Anything that you can’t see or get nearby can be gotten to on the Metro, which is a block away.
