After reading some of the reviews l was not expecting much for our price, but l was pleasantly surprised, rooms are soundproof to traffic although not to the next room. Staff on recption were friendly and spoke good English. Size of room was reasonable as l was expecting it to be smaller. My request by e-mail for a non-smoking room was answered with in 30 mins, so that impressed me. l would reccommend it to friends who can stick 30 degrees without air conditioning

very clean, even if many things in the room seemed ready to come loose and fall apart; little space for taking breakfast that causes waiting interminable minutes; compensated by a very forthcoming personnel (more polite and more helpful than in Milan for instance). The price, however, is a little too high (almost 100 euros per one night); subway station behind the building: metro 4 will take you to Notre-Dame (Saint Michel station) in approximately 15 minutes. I would recommend you to speak a little bit of French! I would go back any time!

this was a very mediocre place. the rooms were clean, the staff were helpful, breakfast was not included in the price, the rooms were quiet once the window was closed, but if the window was open it was quite noisy, the aera isnt very nice, quite run down, but it is very close to gard du nord and gare d'est making it ideal for exploring the city using the metro.im not sure if i would stay here again. while the place itsself was fine, the aera its in is not.

The room was very small and no airconditioning. The room was stuffy but we couldn't open the balcony door for air circulation as the street noise was too loud. The bathroom was extremely small and I could barely turn around in the shower.

The hotel is situated at a boulevard and caused through the heavy traffic it is noisy during the day and even in the night. In spite of that we slept not too bad cause we were very tired from sightseeing. We had a room on the 4th floor, the room was clean but very small. Service at the hotel is very friendly, breakfast was ok too. The best of the hotel is the location (50 meters away from the subway/underground and gare de l´est), opening 24hours and the cheap price. For having lunch or dinner we recommend the center of Paris, especially saint germain des pres.

Reception staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast room was extremely inadequate, 14 seats only in a hotel boasting 32 rooms, guests had to line up for breakfast. Breakfast was also disappointing and waitresses lacked any personality or friendliness. There was no satellite TV as advertised, if you didn't speak french you can forget about watching TV as the 4 channels available were in french. No bar fridge in room, rooms extremely small, housemaids do not knock before entering room, 2 mornings of my stay they let themselves into my room when my partner was undressed. Walls were not sound proof, we could hear people in next rooms and hallways, however, there was no noise from the street. Hotel is located in a not so nice part of Paris, I wouldn't stay there again nor would I recommend the hotel. 3 Stars is over-rated.

The Wifi doesn't really work and is not free. Rooms are very small, but it is always the case in this kind of hotels in Paris. In my opinion, it deserves more 2 stars than 3.

This was the worst 3 star hotel we have ever stayed. the room was very small. the corridors were very narrow. you can not turn in the shower. you can hear the customers "fart" in the toilet in the neighbouring room. Our birthday celebration in paris was a disaster. Everything was perfect in paris except the hotel choice. There were other 3 star hotels for 60€, but i chose this hotel having expectetions to get a little bit better service. The breakfast was another disaster. We payed 3 days breakfast cost in advance. the breakfast room was in the cellar. there were no windows in breakfast room. It was a shame choosing this hotel.
