Good location - but room was quite small - not enough space to store luggage out of the way - shower was so small that an average sized person still has to get in sideways and there was mildew present.

+ Proximity to centre of Paris. It is within easy walking distance of museums and the metro connection is very close. The staff were extremely helpful and all spoke English well making communication very easy. Roberto in particular was very helpful in org

+ The hotel is in a perfect location, lots of bars and eating places within easy walk, and easy walk to tourist sites if you are happy to casually walk. the lounge area is nice, and breakfast nice despite the price. - I stayed in the suite. the jacuzzy is not the cleanest, and the finish on the bathroom let it down. there was an extra bed, which did not need to be there. the room was cleaned everyday but not to a high standard, ie the mini bar was not topped up, dressing table not wiped up. previously stayed at etoile 4 star, smaller room but free breaky and much better standard for the similar price.

Just Okay This is a good location within walking distance to reach many local attractions. The double decker buses are a must and we wish we had the museum tickets ahead of time.

There wasn't anything wrong with the hotel except that the rooms were small. Rates this hotel as a 3 star hotel and it's a 3 star hotel in the European standards. But in the US it is like a 2 star hotel Overall the stay and price were good.

Stayed here 8 nights.Opted, upon arrival, to take the Junior suite instead of the deluxe that I reserved. The room was much bigger and on the top floor in the back and very quiet. The upgrade included breakfast which the regular room didn't.The food was great. Location was perfect for us. We like to walk and were 5 mins from the Seine, the Metro,Rue du Bucci,10 min to Notre Dame,Luxembourg Gardens,20 to Invalides,45 to Eiffel Tower. Really a good location for the Left Bank. Hotel staff was very accomodating, polite and friendly. By american standards the building is small and the rooms and hallways are small but they are imacculate warm and big enough for this6'3" 240pounder and my wife.

A tiny nest in a wonderful neighborhood This was the smallest hotel room I’ve ever seen--just enough room to walk sideways around the bed. The bathroom was even smaller. I constantly banged my elbows against the walls while brushing my teeth. I’m a petite person who lives in a small apt in NYC so it’s not as though I’m used to large rooms. That said, this was very clean and nice and the neighborhood was fantastic, beautiful, convenient to everything and fun. Breakfast in the hotel was outrageously expensive but there are a lot of nice places nearby to eat instead

Enjoyed our stay but for a suite, the room was quite small, but comfortable. Did not represent value for money compared with a stay at Villa Luxembourg. Breakfast was grossly overpriced, and the staff unhelpful...too brisque.
