Fantastic little hotel in a quiet & convenient location ( walking distance to the arc de Triomphe , Metro station, cafes / restaurants and a lovely bakery full of delicious cakes). Our rooms were small, but very modern ( with airconditioning , flat screen TV , mini bar / fridge and beautiful bathrooms). We were well looked after by the friendly reception staffs ( they all speak English and are very professional). We highly recommend!!

After doing much intense searching to try and find a decent hotel in Paris but not one that would break the bank, I came across the Acacias Etoile Hotel. It had good reviews (26th out of over 1500 in Paris at the time) and we were not disappointed. The hotel were doing a discount on their rooms, which meant we got a €160 for only €115 (about £85). I didn't think the rooms were that small, I was expecting a lot worse! We had a room with a bath as opposed to a shower, the bathroom was immaculate, nice plasma TV and a good comfy bed. We didn't opt for breakfast as I thought it was quite expensive - especially when you can get a baguette and a coffee for €5 at one of the cafes up the road. The hotel is in a great location, down a little residential street about 5mins walk from the Arc De Triomphe. If you come out of the hotel and turn left and walk up the road, you will walk past lots of great little cafes where we had breakfast every morning. The guy on reception was very friendly and spoke good English. I'd definately recommend staying here.

This was our first time to Paris and it won't be the last! The hotel is located in a fabulous location, just moments away from the Arc de Triompe and Champs Elyseé. There is a SNCF and a RER train station just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel but we would recommend walking - you see so much more of this beautiful city. The hotel staff were faultless, polite and very helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy, the bathroom was spotless and smelt clean too. The shower was amazing, just what you needed to relax after a fun packed day of site-seeing! I admit the room is compact but it has everything you need, a comfy bed, tv and safety deposit box. This hotel is a fantastic base for your break away in this romantic city. We found some lovely restaurants just 10 minutes walk away from the hotel (turn left out of the hotel) out of the tourist lime light and where the locals eat, a definate must. If you are thinking of going to Paris consider this hotel, you won't be disappointed!

My lady and I stayed for a 'long weekend' (Friday to Sunday). The staff were courteous and very helpful, speaking English very well. That was useful as our French isn't so good. The room, whilst fairly small, was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. The continental, buffet style, breakfast was splendid, with a good choice of cold meats, cereal, fruit and yogurt. The coffee was very drinkable and not the strong, bitter stuff that I usually get served in Europe. The hotel is just a short walk from RER and Metro stations with a good selection of Cafés and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. I would definitely stay here again.

I read the reviews on this site before I booked this hotel and I have to say they were spot on. The location of the hotel is excellent, under 10 minute walk to champs-elysees and the arc de triomphe and a metro link and plenty of shops and a super market nearby. The rooms were very small but very clean and the shower was excellent. I would definitely recommend a stay here. Please read my reviews of Paris Vision tour excursions if you are thinking of using them. DON'T BOOK A TOUR WITH PARIS VISION! They are a RIP OFF and RUBBISH!!!

I just returned from staying at the Acacias Etoile Hotel in Paris. It was a wonderful hotel. It is small and quaint and in a wonderful area located near the arche de triumph. It is close to subway and bus lines. The staff spoke good english and were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay there and would definately stay there again. For those of you who have never been to Paris, try to avoid eating out at restaurants in the tourist areas- the food is very overpriced.

I travel to Paris regularly for work, and this hotel is now my first choice of a place to stay in the city. It is very affordable, the staff is impeccably polite and helpful, the rooms are comfortable, and the location can't be beat!

stayed at this hotel for almost a week during the new years celebrations. I specifically wanted a hotel near the Arc du Triomphe so that we could walk back when the "party" was over. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was nice (keep in mind we're usually loners who dont request the services of the staff, concierge, or room service, so staff interaction was pretty basic: get key, return keys). The staff signed a card and left it on our room, along with a small box of chocolates to wish us a happy new year. It was very thoughtful. They did give us the wrong room, and asked us to move after about 20 mins after check in. The good thing is that the second room was bigger. But bigger doesnt mean "big", because even the bigger one was small. The elevator was TINY, and the walls were paper thin (could hear our next door neighbours every morning getting ready and closing closet doors). The last couple of mornings they had a construction going on on the top floor (1 above us), and the noise woke us up! So..+ good location, clean, elegant, friendly staff - paper thin walls, construction noise, room mix up.
