This hotel is very conveniently located next to a metro station. The rooms are clean and big, there is a TV. To the first floor you have to take the stairs, but then there is an elevator. They serve breakfast too, but we didn´t try it because there are some cafés and restaurants around that serve cheaper breakfast. The clerks were always friendly. Surroundings are okay, sometimes there are beggars around. There is an ATM right next to the hotel. At the boulevard there is also a post office and supermarkets and you can find a cinema and a Starbucks there as well as loads of restaurants. Try the Buffalo Grill and the Italian restaurant which is only a few houses away from the hotel. The hotel is certainly not the Hilton, but if you want to travel on low budget and see as much as you can it is a great place to stay.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 days with my family - great location, this hotel has got great access to Porte D'Orleans metro station. You come out of the subway and the hotel is right in front of you. Continenetal breakfast was nothing flash, but more than adequate. Rooms were medium in size, but for what you pay, you get decent clean rooms with newly refurbished toilets which are clean and modern. Internet access is free and staff are helpful. There is a cafe directly opposite the hotel and a number of eateries close by. Takes 20 minutes to the paris attractions such as notre dame, louvre etc. by metro (Line 4). Getting to versailles was no problem - catch the tram in front of the hotel to Pont du Garigliano and catch the RER C line from Bd Victor across the road. Overall great location - nice neighbourhood - I will recommend this hotel.

Hotel Acropole is a great value for Paris. The metro station is literally right outside the door! The metro ride isn't that far to the major sites either. The staff is friendly and speaks a bit of English. The hotel is super clean! The bathroom looks really nice, but it's the worst shower you'll ever take. We didn't pay for their breakfast because it didn't look very substantial. There are plenty of restaurants around though. There is a little store right up the road that has everything you need from toothbrushes to wine and beer. If you don't mind a little ride on the metro or bus, then you'll be getting a very NICE hotel for your money!

Have visited Hotel Acropole during a short business trip to Paris in September 2006. The hotel was perfectly located - close to the venue of my business meeting, as well as to the public transportation. Although I was a solo traveller, I was given a room with a double bed and a single bed (that should be seen in the pictures). Both the room and the bath were clean, no strange smells or anything like that. Despite the near road intersection, no outside noise came through the windows - I left my windows open for the night as there was no airconditioning in the room. The breakfast was OK, although probably not worth the extra costs.

Decided to stay one night at this hotel since we had an early flight from Orly airport. This hotel was about a 15 minute taxi ride to the airport so that was good. Orly doesn't have a direct Metro line connected to it so we thought we'd stay somewhere in Paris a little closer to that airport. The hotel was ok. The rooms were decorated like it was 1980. But it was a fairly large room and bathroom for a budget hotel in Paris. The Price was pretty good but it isn't in a prime "Tourist" Location. Most of the staff were helpful although we had a hard time getting a consistent answer to some of our questions. It is an ok place to stay for an ok room but I'm sure there are better hotels in Paris for that price.

This hotel is a typical middle of the road French hotel. I stayed here overnight on a business trip. Set in the heart of Porte D'orleans it is not on the Paris tourist belt but is ok if that is not what you are looking for. The Room Rather dated, although the bathroom had been given a facelift! The Staff Very helpful, friendly and spoke very good English. I needed directions to the office where I was having a meeting. The receptionist went online, downloaded a Google map and oulined the route I needed to take. Breakfast Basic continental type but but fresh and tastey. The coffee is magnificent though! Overall A pretty tired hotel but with a comfortable bed, helpful staff and off the beaten track.
