Nice, cosy hotel, good location, well equipped room. 2 major problems: very small space in the room and very bad noise from the outside. The hotel is just over one of Paris's Cabarets that is open until 6 am!

the price for a supplemenatry night is higher than the initial price: 170 euros instead of 145. breakfast for 20 Euros to expensiv. In the neiborhood, a continental breafast costs 9.50 Euros. A cup of coffee, (expresso) costs 3 Euros which is very exagarated... I asked to awaked in the morning at 7 am. They forgot it without any excuse....

We stayed two nights and had a lovely time at this very friendly, moden hotel. It's in a great location being situated very close to 3 metros (Gaite, Montparnasse Bienvenue and Edgar Quinet) with plenty of cafes, bars and a market very close by. Paris is a fantastic city to walk around and we were able to see the sites fairly comfortably from our location. The hotel itself was clean, modern and new with very comfortable beds. The rooms weren't particularly large but were a decent size compared to Paris standards. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. On inspecting our room, we asked if we could change from 2 single beds to a double which they accommodated without fuss despite the hotel being fully booked. One major bonus was that there are buses which go from CDG airport straight to Gare du Montparnasse which is literally around the corner from the hotel and means that you can avoid the daunting prospect of weaving your way around the Metro with your bags and negotiating Gare du Nord. The only problem we did have was noise from outside during the night when people were leaving clubs. Rooms further back may be better. All in all, I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

The Abba hotel has no connection with the Swedish legends of pop but rather is part of a Spanish hotel chain. This is a very modern, stylish hotel which is much more comfortable than the standard 2 star dingy rubbish available in Paris for much the same price. The whole place seems brand new and has a very chic minimalist decor. I had a room on the 5th floor with a cool sloping ceiling equipped with en suite bath & shower, great selection of toiletries, desk, TV, trouser press, safe & minibar. The bed was large and comfortable, the room had air conditioning and all in all I would happily have stayed for some time. They seem to have a few teething troubles - the trouser press was not working, the TV tuning was extremely random and fuzzy, the room wasn't cleaned on the first night and I was randomly locked out on the third night of my stay. However, all of these were a bit irritating rather than disastrous and overall this is a great place to stay. Staff were friendly and efficient, give this a try.
