great very well positioned just opposite the Porte d'Orleans metro station. Clean and spacious rooms at reasonable price. Nice bars and restaurants very nearby. will definitely stay again.

I can say that this is not a good option The only good is maybe that it is just in the front from the metro station

a bit far from the center but definitely worth the price buy a multiple ticket metro pass or a tourist pass for convenience as you will be using the metro a lot if you stay here.

I was a bit worried when bocoking since the price was so low, but boy was I in for a pleasant surprise! People in other reviews have claimed the traffic outside is too heavy, that the elevator is too small and that there has been all kinds of trouble, but fact is, non of that bothered me. Sure, the traffic outside was heavy, but I like to feel the pulse of the city. It is a big city, a metropol so of course there is going to be traffic. But I wasn't bothered at all. It's not like you payed for Grand Hotel. The standard in the rooms were great to say the least. The bathrooms were excellent and it was very clean. The staff is really nice and helpful. The Hotel is in a great area and the Metro is only an arm's length from the hotel entrance!! The only negative thing about this Hotel would be the elevator. It is small as a grave. And I happen to be claustrophobic. Also the elevator broke when we were there and my mom was staying on the 7th floor. She got a room on the first floor after a bit of whining from me and the day after the elevator was fixed. This Hotel is well, well worth its price. Safe area too. Oh my God, I love Paris!

The lift is working either for you or for your suitcase... (so small) There was construction going on in the basement.

The staff is very friendly and kind. The position of the hotel is very strategic if you use the metro. The price on the hotel.de site is very low with respect the official price, very advantageous! The bathroom is new and can have shower instead of the bath-tub. A discounted price for your car. The room (not the bathroom) is a little much old than it results from the photos on the site (old table and old bed).

Will recommend to friends/family If travelling with heavy luggage even with trolley wheels...avoid the Metro...best to take bus (if familiar with routes) or taxis. France/Paris do not cater for tourists on the go with the countless flights of stairs in the Metro with no ramps or lift or help?
