    - It said on the website that the price breakfast is included in room price, but it wasn't, we had to pay 23 euros extra for the breakfast each day, and they inform us about it when we were check-out, and they should when we check-in.

The location is great as you can walk to the Eiffel in just about five minutes & you can see the tower lit up at night from the road of the hotel, Id definately stay there again if i wanted reasonable tourist class accomidation, Its a good hotel !!!!

This hotel will not make it to my list of places to remember in Paris. The location is quite OK (1/2h walk to the Eiffel tower, access to the metro is just in front - I think some of the reviews here are actually for another hotel with a close name). My room was in the back of the building, so no street noise, but the walls are so thin that you have the feeling that your neighbor is actually showering in your room. Same goes for the doors, you can hear every single person walk by. You'll be woken up by the first one who gets up on your floor... The cleaning lady forgot to put toilet paper and when I called the reception the answer was "just come down to pick it up, i'm not coming to your room". Nice. That's what I call service. The room and bathroom were more or less clean but "used", I expected a bit more given the price.

This hotel is located about a mile from the eiffel tower, an easy 15 minute walk away. It is in a neighborhood area, that has grocery stores, and a french bakery, and several cafes. Also, near a bus stop, and a 10 minute walk from the metro. The hotel staff leave a lot to be desired. They sold us a bad internet card, that they said would be good for unlimited use for a month, but really was only a 24 hour card. They weren't the friendliest, but the room was clean, and it felt safe. Overall, it was a good hotel. Next time we visit Paris though, I would not stay in this area, because it is far away from many of the sights. Staying near the Louvre, or the Notre Dame, has many other attractions near it. Have fun-and see the eiffel tower at night!

Location of this hotel is great - opposite supermarket, many restaurants, the metro less than 100yards away and the Eiffel Tower about 20 mins walk... But the hotel... The rooms are tiny and the walls are paper thin. To make matters worse, it was too hot in the room at night to sleep, but they would not turn the air conditioning on because it was still Winter - 18th April! You couldn't keep the window open at night because of the city noise and the non-smoking room also stunk of smoke. On our last day the maid just unlocked the door and walked in - no knocking. This is a great location but the only real issue I can see is the noise. We were on the 5th floor and the heavy doors slamming and the paper thin walls don't make for a pleasant night.

This is just an adorable hotel with a great location and price with A/C. We wanted the A/C incase it was hot out or it was too noisey and needed to close the windows when sleeping. Well it was too noisey since we faced the front of the hotel street, but the A/C was great. The sound proof double panel windows are great. They open nicely during the day for some great fresh air and even in the bathroom! The bed was comfortable and so were the pillows. The drawbacks? Well all rooms are small in Paris, but the cleanliness and location make up for it. Great room makeover every day. It's hard to find A/C in Paris for a price anyway and we paid about 85 euros a day for a great location across the street from the metro and many little cafes. You can also walk to the Eiffel Tower but it is a 20 minute walk. Front desk was very helpful with information and they all speak English (even though I do speak some French). The room did not have and draw space so you would need to work out of your suitcase. TV was adequate but did have a late night adult channel which was a nice change of pace for free. Our room did not have a shower curtain so it must have been listed as a room with bath. You make the choice. I would definitely go back again...again if you're a big person(s) then this is not for you.

We stayed at the Beaugrenelle St Charles for a week in April 2003. The rooms are small but have been updated and were clean with particularly good showers. Staff were pleasant and helpful and there are many excellent cafes in the immediate vicinity. The Metro is accross the road and you can walk to most of the main touris attractions in less than 20 minutes. The area is clean and has an abundance of trees. We are going back in 2004 and the hotel is one I would strongly recommend as value for money in the centre of Paris.

This hotel is very good value for money. Clean and good rooms and a great location. You can walk to the eiffel tower in 20 mins and there is the metro station almost opposite to the hotel. There is a supermarket opposite to the hotel and an excellent bakery with tasty baguettes and any type of croissants next to the hotel. Recommended.

Ok, to be fair, the price was very good, since it is hard to beat 85 Euros per night in the centre of Paris not far from the Eiffeltower. However, if you are looking for a romantic gateaway, you will be sorely dissappointed. In addition and under any circumnstances, AVOID a room next to the elevator! Not only will you hear the rumbling sound of the elevator going up and down, but you will also hear the voices of the prople coming back late at night from an evening out in Paris. My advice, look for alternatives.
