The "breakfast" was so-so. On our second day when we tried to communicate that we just wanted coffee, since we were going to go out for breakfast, they still brought us and therefore charged us for the "full" breakfast.

Biggest problem was the owner's lack of willingness to keep our bicycle case stored for 4 days after we left for someone else to pick up. I hadn't cleared it when we made our reservation. Unreasonable? There was plenty of room, and the employees had no problem with it; and the case was in a corner of the lobby all the time we were there... Another issue was use of the internet. The employees again had no problem with us using it, but the owner again refused.

The Carlton is OK. I reported a broken toilet seat on arrival and a workman arrived just as we were packing to leave, 4 nights later. Fairly priced for a standard room. Overpriced by at least 20% for a superior room (std room + aircon).

Very tiny room, especially the toilets... Garbages lying on the balcony (McDo stuff, etc..., poor bedding, hotel not deserving a 3 stars rating. Location was good and people were friendly at the desk at least.
