Fantastic location This hotel is very well located Just adjacent to the main avenue Jean Medecin - great shopping street, great restaurants nearby and very close to the flower market and Old Nice. Breakfast, parking and internet facilities are all extra costs - we were led to believe that a continental breakfast was included. Would definitely stay there again - no complaints.

Overall, our stay was consistent with that of a 3 star hotel. Good location in that you are centrally located between the train station/bus station and the promenade d' anglais which runs along the beach. Easy walk to restaurants and there is a grocery store (monoprix) across the street which was great to stop at for things like water, crackers, etc. Rooms were clean and neat. Down side was that the hotel rooms were extremely small and our pillows smelled in both rooms that we rented (put towels over them at night to sleep). Additionally, the floors are uneven which more of a structural thing than anything else is. Also, nice is in the process of reinstating a streetcar system so the main street outside of the hotel is a construction site with little or no sidewalks. However, once construction is completed, it should be very convenient to have public transportation just steps away.

I would normally not have chosen a hotel at this price range, but all we needed was a bed for a few hours. We were on our way to the Four Seasons Hotel and Country Club for a golf holiday so a night more reasonably priced was all right. However, next time I would prefer to go up a few steps in my choice of hotel.

The room we got was very small, allthough I do believe there are bigger rooms available in the hotel. My rental car got scratched in the small car park. Otherwise the location is good, especially if you want to go to both the Promenade, and take advantage of local traveling with trains.. There is no Wi Fi in the hotel as far as I could find out..

+ the friendlyness of the staff at the reception desk - The rooms were not cleaned adequately every day, sheets were not changed and soap was not restocked every day. Also, internet access was a rip off pricewise.

Good hotel, although very expensive for the Grand Prix weekend; would expect better value at other times.
