+ The location of the hotel was superb. close to the beach, shopping restaurants yet it was a reasonable rate. - Our superior triple included a cot. not at all what i thought it would be. the room was very small, yet it was comfortable.

Uncomfortable Room, Great Location The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is right in the center of things and close to old nice, cours saleya, bus stops, train station, and promenade de anglais. Our room was tiny and a bit uncomfortable. The front desk said they would not turn the AC on for us (not hot enough) so we had to have our windows open and it was extremely noisy outside (garbage trucks, cars, etc). The breakfast was ok and it does save you money. The front desk staff weren’t that helpfull and seemed to be annoyed when we asked questions. They were, however, very courteous. Traveler's tip on recreational activities We found it easier to take the bus for 1 euro to towns such as st. paul, cannes, and monaco. The bus stop is half a block from hotel and very convenient and the train station is a farther walk.

We've been here a couple of times now, it's centrally located for all the bars, restaurants, shops and transport and all a simple 2 minutes walk from the Promenade Anglais; the main road along the front by the beach. The bus stop from and to Nice Airport is on the promenade and buses take 15 minutes to the airport. This is a really great place for a quick break and so very easy. The hotel staff are all very helpful and accommodating and seem genuinely happy to book anything for you and they speak good English.

I will not go back to Hotel De Flore if I go to Nice. The location of the hotel was very close to the beach and shops and restaurants, but overall I was not happy staying in this hotel.

Great location Three of us stayed together for a night in Nice before going to Provence for the rest of our stay. The room was clean, the desk attendant very pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast included in the morning was good. The location near the pedestrian zone was the best part as we enjoyed the shops, cafes, and the night life.

Basic three star hotel A neat, comfortable hotel, in the center of Nice. Convenient location. Parking in public parking structure, one block away. I couldn’t get the wireless internet to work, but no major problems with service or accommodations.

Great Location, Good Value I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, which I think is good value for money. It's only a couple of blocks from the beach and close to everything. Lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby while there's a supermarket and fruit shop below. The room is fine, clean, compact and bright through the day. I'd certainly recommend it for a stay in Nice, which is a really cool city, by the way.

It's too late once you are there The walls are so thin we could hear our neighbours coughing in the night, we could hear them going to the bathroom. It is one of those hotels that looks good on-line and when you get there it is oh my goodness what did we do...well what we did was make the best of the carpet over smell in the halls, the poor rooms and enjoyed the fact that the hotel staff where wonderful and kind and that our pic this time sucked. The location was great and we loved loved loved Nice and will go back..just wish the hotel was updated and nicer

Great location!! Great location - right in the centre of Nice, 5 mins from the promenade and the old town and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Breakfast was fine and the outdoor terrace was nice. The walls are a little thin, but only when the neighbours are being really loud!!
