Hotel Kyriad Rabatau

Excellent Value I really liked my stay in Marseille. The hotel was very modern and designed extremely well. Very comfortable beds and the room was spotless. Also, the staff was very friendly. Although it wasn't in the center of town, the metro was easily reached via a five minute bus ride or a fifteen minute walk. I would definitely recommend this as a good value hotel. I will seek out other Kyriad hotels where they are available.

Hotel Kyriad Rabatau The Hotel was very clean and part of a chain that covers alot of France. My only critism is that the walls of the room were paper thin and every noise could be heard of people in the corridor and adjoining rooms. We only slept there and were out for the majority of the time, so the hotel served our purpose. Very new.

Let me start by saying that my wife and I stayed in 14 different hotels for our European vacation in the summer of 2006 (Aug – Sept) – so all our reviews will be comparing the hotels on the trip. European hotels are smaller and simpler than American hotels, so it doesn’t seem fair to compare them. For the most part, breakfast in a B&B is not worth it – especially if you have to pay a little more. We generally ate one morning at the included breakfast, and then skipped the other mornings – looking for a local place to enjoy breakfast. Also, all of our hotels had small bathrooms and very small showers – so be prepared with a good attitude and knowledge that you are there to see the sights – not soak in the tub! Very difficult to find. Would not recommend this place. It wasn’t dirty, but didn’t seem clean either. Staff was nice – but the hotel is like a run down Motel 6. Would not stay at any Kyriad Rabatau after this experience.
