We styed here for 4 nights whilst in the area for a friends wedding. The hotel itself is modern and clean. We stayed in a Prestige room so my 18 month old daughter would have room to play around in. The bathroom was impressive size with double sinks, bath and huge walk in shower. The staff were friendly and polite. We felt comfortable walking around the hotel letting my daughter do a bit of running (without getting in anyones way). At no point did the staff get snobby. In fact they did their best to befriend her, and gave her a small rucksack!! The hotel is quite empty during the day, so I guess thats why you they are quite chilled out. Breakfast was pricey for what you got. Only downside to our stay was when we didnt have breakfast we used to order room service hot milk to make my daughter breakfast in the room. This was quite pricey (€5!) and so was room service tea (no tea making facilites in room). I will recommend this hotel for people with young children. You do need a car to go to local towns. The hotel does not have much grounds itself, but like I said, you are free to wander around the place. For short walks you can visit local vineyards by the side of the road. An abolute hidden gem in the area is that about 2 min walk from the hotel is a small park. There isn't any play equipment, but there are benches etc. Its big enough for kids to run around in. This is where the locals bring their games (boules !) to take footballs etc. One more thing about staying with small kids is again is because the hotel is empty during the day, and also evening (as no restaurant), the bar is virtually empty. Its more like a lounge, and we felt comfortable to sit in there on our own, with drinks and games and treated it like our own !! Also with kids if you do get stuck in the hotel, the room service menu is pricey, but acceptable despite there not being a proper restaurant. However we left very chilled out, and would go back in a second.

We stayed at Le Richebourg for one night on our honeymoon. The hotel is modern and beautifully decorated with incredibly comfortable rooms. At 125 Euros per night the prestige room was great value. The bathroom was large and airy with a great bath and seperate shower. The only criticism would be the cost of room service and the minibar (4 Euros for a 33cl bottle of water) but the value of the room made up for this. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a 4* hotel that would probably be a 5* if it had a restaurant. Modern, with all the amenities, friendly and helpful staff, convenient to Beaune and Dijon ( with a car, of course).Restaurant next door ( Tout Petite Auberge) is excellent. Stayed there five nights and wish it could have been longer. Easily the best value of our accomodations on our 3+ week vacation---would unhesitatingly recommend it to those wishing to stay along the Cote D'Or.

Now this is a real hidden gem. Visited in Jul '06 and I think the hotel wasn't built long before that. The hotel is situated just north of Nuits St George, which itself is just north of Beaune. Although the hotel is not in a town / village centre the hoetl does still make a great place to base yourself from and explore the area for a few days. Rooms: Superb. Large, clean, good beds, great bathroom, air con, even blackout shutters for a perfect night's sleep. Staff: Charming and very helpful. Location: 20 min walk from Nuits St Georges, which is a charming little village. The hotel is also right next door to a gorgeous restaurant (Le Petite Auberge). Perfectly placed for exploring the Burgundy wine region. Hotel generally: Spot on. Has a Sauna (30Euros per room though!), parking, small comfortable bar, and a terrace. There's also free internet access as a computer on the 1st floor landing - very handy. Can't recommend this one enough really. Visit for a night or two if you're in the area.

We stayed here 2 nights on our way back up to Paris to fly home. What a great hotel to finish our vacation in. I won't repeat what previous visitors have mentioned but it was wonderful. If you want to stay right in the middle of wine country this is the place for you. I just wish we had several more days to spend. We stayed in a Prestige Room and it was outstanding. We ordered room service twice...once for dinner and once for breakfast. Both were wonderful. Don't miss this hotel.

After reading other reviews on tripadvisor, I booked a stay at Le Richebourg. Having three children, I generally call the hotel to make arrangements. The lady in reservations was very helpful and we booked a suite, #201. Upon arrival, we were quickly checked in and shown to our room. It looked newly renovated (last year or so) and clean. Most surprisingly was the great view of local vineyards and the spaciousness of the suite. There is a great restaurant within 100 meters and breakfast is decent. The room cost us just over EUR 300/ night with breakfast. Breakfast was reasonable at EUR 15. Would visit again.

Booked a suite for myself, wife and daughter in August. Very large, luxurious room with lovely views of the vineyards- which we had a walk around. If I was REALLY picky the rooms were a bit too minimalist to spend too many days in, a bit more colour in terms of pictures, accessories would help. Service was very good, friendly and helpful-- I hope they dont get over formal. Breakfast was a bit weak, cheese in plastic/dried ham but didnt trouble us too much. As mentioned no restaurant in the hotel, but the 'little red restaurant' 100 metre away was very good- with local wine and 4 course meal about £105 for 3 people. Also St George' Nuit is only a few miles away and is an interesting town. Overall a very enjoyable stay, in a pretty wine region.

Located half way between Beaune and Dijon in the Cote D'Or, this charming hotel is perfectly situated for exploring a fantastic wine region of Burgundy; which is why we picked it. The hotel is beautifully appointed, the rooms are huge and the bathrooms are large and modern. and we had a lovely view over the Vosne Romanee vineyards. The staff here are extremely professional, friendly and helpful and whilst there isn't a restaurant on-site, "the little red house" next door is a simply outstanding restaurant, in terms of service, quality, price and decor. We had rented a car in Dijon for the four nights, which proved extremely useful when exploring the region (definitely do go to Beaune for a visit- a truly charming town). Overall, I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanted a truly unique and memorable stay in one the finest wine regions in the world.

Stayed overnight in Le Richebourg after reading reviews on this website. We booked through a booking website and when the hotel was still 3 stars. We arrived and discovered the hotel had been awarded a 4th star, and the prices had subsequently risen. We were initially shown to a beautiful room, but without the terrace we had expected. When I pointed out to the receptionist we had originally booked a room with terrace, we were immediately switched at no extra cost. Our room was wonderful with a huge terrace and beautiful views over vineyards. The decor and attention to detail are superb and we loved staying here. The nearby restaurant - La Toute Petite Auberge - is a great place to eat at reasonable cost and just a few paces away. The hotel is near a fairly busy road, but certainly with a room away from the road side, we heard no traffic noise. I would happily stay here again and even with the increased prices for the extra star it is still very good value for money.
