The Residence Les Agapanthes is a modern apartment block set amidst greenery and located to the west of Cannes, two kilometers from the beach. The 88 studios have balconies, kitchenettes, separate living areas, televisions and VCRs. Décor is simple and modern in white with yellow and red touches or white with green and black touches. Guests can relax with a drink on sunbeds by the outdoor swimming pool or work out in the gym. The site has its own nightclub, and for the more outgoing, karaoke parties are on offer. Plenty of outdoor sports facilities are available including volleyball, basketball and badminton. The indoor games room has facilities for billiards, pin ball and video games. Kids will love the mini club and children's activities; babysitting services are also available. There's a lot to see and do in the immediate vicinity, with shops, go karting, bowling, tennis and laser quest to be found within 500 meters. The beach is only two kilometers away, and the glamorous center of Cannes is within six kilometers of the residence. Nice International Airport is approximately 35 kilometers away. The hotel provides a shuttle service to/from the airport, as well as a shuttle bus to Cannes railway station. Alternatively, SNCF trains run to/from the airport every 30 minutes from Cannes Gare St Laurent du Var and every 45 minutes from Nice (Gare Nice Ville). Taxis are readily available to all destinations; taxi stands are located outside both terminals. Motorway tolls may be added to the fare. For a fee, direct transport from the airport to the hotel can be arranged in advance. Regular public buses serve the area hiring a car is also recommended for exploring further afield.
