The Apart'hotel Citadines Cannes Carnot is an attractive period property located in the centre of Cannes, 500 metres from the golden sand beach and 750 metres from the Old Town. Self contained apartments are decorated in shades of pale yellows, slate greys and blues with simple modern furnishings. All have fully equipped kitchens with cookware, dishes and refrigerators. Other in room amenities include air conditioning, cable television, direct dial phones and dial up Internet connection. In the morning the hotel offers a continental breakfast and complimentary newspapers. Guests can escape the bustle of the city in the peaceful indoor garden or bronze on the roof top terrace. Alternatively, a special pass is available from reception (April September) allowing access to a private beach 500 metres away where guests can spend a day sunbathing or trying their hand at water sports such as snorkelling, water skiing and windsurfing. Those keen to explore further afield can visit the Lerins Islands and monastery five kilometres away, or the picturesque Esterel Mountains, a 15 kilometre drive. The nearest international airport is Nice, 30 kilometres from the hotel. The SNCF national train services run to/from the airport every 30 minutes from Cannes Gare St Laurent du Var and every 45 minutes from Nice (Gare Nice Ville). Guests can catch the public airport shuttle into Cannes for 22 EUR return. Taxis are readily available and are located outside both terminals. Motorway tolls may be added to the fare. A taxi to the hotel costs approximately 80 EUR.
