nice rooms beach charges extra

Value for money! The beach and main promenade are walking distance from the hotel.

+ quiet, good air conditioning, clean beds and less than 10 minutes from beach - needs a upgrading in terms of carpets in corridors.

Located conveniently near the "strip", but in a quiet area. Reception desk was not very professionally organized. Check-in took a long time and staff seemed busy with other tasks (No dedication!!) Rooms were clean and space ok. Breakfast Buffet is ok but

On the whole the hotel was pleasant and the room was comfortable. The hotel staff were helpful but perhaps not particularly the happiest bunch of people.

+ Sheets changed regularly - Lots.Rooms were very poor.None of the extras in the rooms..kettles etc were there.Staff poor

This hotel is simply dirty, all the pictures shown on website are real but shiown at their best advantages, in fact the hotel is very old, one floor badly renovated, The breakfast is a nightmare, the service either, The room cleaning is made very badly, This hotel is simply dirty, and AVOID GOING THERE, UNLESS you would like spend a very BAD TIME.

Terrible I really don't know how this is rated 4 stars!! Whilst the lobby is well presented, the rest of the hotel is dirty with a damp odour. My room was a standard room and a good size but even though it was on a non-smoking floor, there was a slight smoke smell mixed in with the dampness. When I drew back the curtain there was a dirty old shoe behind it, the TV and some of the lights didn't work which was not very helpful when I came back at 1am from a hard day's work. When I tried ringing reception about it they assured me the lights should work and didn't want to come up and look. When I checked out and paid for the 1 chocolate bar I had from the mini bar, they didn't give me the correct change (however, this seems endemic in Cannes). Whilst relatively less expensive for Cannes, it is not value for money

- Wondering how this hotel received 4 stars; benchmarking this to other hotels in this category, I feel this hotel should have been rated with three stars max.

The hotel is clean and comfortable but the amenities are not in good condition. The gym is practicaly derelict and the sauna was never on while I was there. The pool is small but adaquate. However the loungers were in poor condition and the pool area had a generally neglected feel to it. The bar was almost always deserted and the hotel lacked any kind of attractive ambiance in the evening. The staff were all very attentive and intelligent. Perfect for bed and breakfast purposes.
