This is a traditional two star french hotel, well-kept but simple. But it is also just some metres away from one of the most famous beach promenades of the world. Simply put: The best bargain price hotel in Cannes!!!

Very, very, very basic hotel.... but the LOCATION! Oh my, it's outstanding! Wouldn't want to spend much time in the room as there is not a spare inch and it is colorless, but it is ONE BLOCK from the Croisette, public beach, in the midst of restaurants and shopping, and the outdoor market is just down the street. Reception is on the second floor over PASTIS Italian restaurant, which is also fabulous. We ate practically every meal there. Excellent (8-30E). Choices from pizza to duck. The hotel offers continental breakfast for 5.50. Reception is very friendly and speaks English. Toilets are the electronic variety (chipper/shredder) and are not bolted to the floor, too tiny sink, scratchy towels and very small shower, hmmm... BUT you're a BLOCK from EVERYTHING! Clean rooms. We had a rear facing room and was very quiet. This is a wonderful affordable place to stay if you're going to Cannes to be out and about.

I rely so much on reviews from Tripadvisor I am making myself sit down to write this! but am confused as to what image to protray ... you see its a two star hotel, very reasonable, clean and in brilliant location but yet staying there kinda put a dampner on my trip. First off location ..set in an area of many restaurants it is just off the croisette in a very nice part of cannes.. you have the Dior shop on your corner ...almost across the road from the excellent public beach so only a short walk back to your room. The hotel is on the street .. one door leading to a stairs ... quite a busy restaurant next door ... also beside the Rue Dantibes the amazing shopping street ... so if you like to be in the middle of things, hate long walks to and from your hotel yet feel extremely safe and secure then this location is perfect. As a single female traveller I felt extremely comfortable to stay here ...much better than further up near the train station ...Very nice staff here - think this is a family run hotel. The downside ...the room was tiny and quite shabby .. I didn't like using the bathroom and the towels were almost paper thin and while once white or blue maybe were now grey ... The sheets were pristine and the room was absolutely spotless but I did feel the towels were an insult. While there is a TV it only has French Channels but on the plus side the rooms are airconditioned. So there you have it, if you want to go to Cannes and cannot afford to stay in one of the bigger hotels and do not plan to spend much time in your room .. just somewhere to sleep then you can't go wrong at this price. As I was travelling alone I came back to my room quite early every night and therefore the tiny shabby room really did get to me. I paid 48euro a night for a single room. Maybe the bigger double rooms are better but have no expectations from the rooms and you will have a great time without breaking the bank ...

We stayed at Azurene Hotel in April last year. We were given a tiny double room but clean. The bathroom was something particular! You couldn't even close the door while using it and no way to stay the both of us in it! And it is true, only french channels on tv, but what a good french exercise! The breakfast was ok, enough for an italian couple used to cappuccino and croissant... I wouldn't know for any used to have american or continental breakfast. The staff (if you ever manage to see anybody!) is friendly. The location is excellent, close to the famous promenade and to all the fantastic boutiques. If you are on a budget (like we unfortunately were) just avoid the expensive "pizzerias" along the promenade: € 60,00 for 1 pizza, 1 salad and 2 beers... simply a shame! Walk to the northern side of city: close to the railway station you will discover where locals live, shop and have their meals! Should we ever visit Cannes on a budget again, we would probably choose this hotel. Ps. We had a small dog with us and they were absolutely pet friendly!

This hotel, although a budget hotel, was very accomodating and friendly. We arrived on a rainy day, so we spent our first day inside the room -- luckily it wasn't so bad, and the rooms are very comfortable. As the other reviewers have pointed out, it is located only one minute away from the meditteranean - this was definitely the best feature of this hotel - great value for its location...once the rain was gone, it was quite easy to explore the town, and find our way back again as it is very central. Plus, the staff was very friendly, especially Guillame at reception - he was sincere, kind, and accomodating, answering all of our questions with ease and approachability. I would definitely stay at this hotel when I visit Cannes again!
