In May 2005 I stayed with my wife in a VIP Room facing city at The Residence All Suites Hotel in Cannes. The room is really small, but is decorated in a very charming way, with furniture in light color wood. Space is especially scarce in the bathroom, and I can imagine that a person who wears t-shirts size XL will find it really hard to fit under the shower. The location is good, just a short walk (maybe 2 minutes) to the beach and it is not noisy, even though there is a railroad in front. The staff was helpful and polite. Breakfast was just regular: there is a buffet with ordinary breakfast food, but service was slow sometimes, so when a buffet item was depleted it took a while until it was replenished again. Everything considered, I may say that I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

I write from Italy and last year I spent 8 days at the end of July in this hotel/residence with a friend of mine. At our arrival, they wanted us to pay €305 each one as a caution money for the use of the kitchen in our room. We payed this money by our VISA but the hotel didn't give it back at the end of our stay. We asked the hotel to do it also in the following months, but they answered us only with some promises for the future. We also contacted the bank of the Hotel (Paribas) recently, but without any result. So, we asked the intervention of our Italian Consumer Defense Association to make the right pressure on this Hotel to give our money back to us, considering also that, at the end of our stay, our room was in perfect conditions and nothing has ever been charged on us. So, my best advice to Italian and foreign tourists is TO AVOID THIS HOTEL, BECAUSE THEY TRY TO NOT GIVE BACK CAUTION MONEY TO CLIENTS, expecially to not rich clients as we are.

I write from Paris to tell you that I was to the All Suites Residence hotel during the first week of the International Film Festival 2005 of Cannes, from the 9 to May 15. I came with my family to profit from the first beautiful days on the French Riviera. The welcome was very warm, the staff was pleasant and obliging, the flats were roomy, comfortable and luxurious. Moreover, the All Suites Residence hotel set up a very attractive promotion policy, what enabled me to profit from luxurious services for a not expensive price. It is true that we must pay a guarantee for the room as in any other hotel residence, but I did not have problem to recover it because we left the flat like when we arrived. In conclusion, if you are looking for hotel in Cannes, I strongly advise you this hotel.

Admittedly I stayed there in mid March. The setting is wonderful. Less than 5 minutes to the beach or Rue d'Antibe. I enjoy walking so mild distances do not bother me. The room was more than enough for one and two would have no problem. The desk workers were more than helpful, so much so they went out of their way to help me numerous times.Draggan stood out as a very helpful fellow. He is a big benefit to the organization.I highly recommend this hotel.

All Suites Residence is a very nice hotel able to offer two choices, Hotel and/or Residence accomodation. I have spent 8 nights there from July 24 to August 1. The room was small but clean and quite. The location is good but not excellent, also if you pay the swimming pool view - at extra cost - you get no great view because of the surrounding area. I would suggest in any case to book a room in the 4th or 5th floor, just to have an idea where you live. The air-conditiong works very good and you get plenty of nice things in your room as CD player, TV-sat, minibar, safe etc. I have seen no mosquitos at all and this is a plus in July. No newspapers were in the lobby except for Nice Matin. The staff is excellent and (excluding one person, Mr. Richard) always friendly, smiling and quite helpful. Top assistance from Alain & Jean-Louis at the bar by the swimming pool and from Daniel at the reception. The director himself is a great person as well as the young Francois. Aquaviva, the so-called beauty area is just a little space where you can get sauna, hammam or few body treatments, so do not expect a real SPA. The nice and competent Rose, who works there, will do her best for your health. I got a massage for my back and it was very good. The restaurant and the breakfast get the only negative notes. The buffet in the morning is charged 19,- EUR each and it is very very poor for the price, better to get your croissant, baguette and cappuccino elsewhere. The restaurant offers no wide choice and the quality could be better. I have eaten two times there and was not impressed at all. Check the price of their beer too. One little Heineken "à pression" costs in Hotel 5,- EUR, so better drink it in the city centre. As a conclusion a nice hotel which could easily get the top notch, if they had a better and cheaper quality of food. I'd definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

My husband and I stayed here from 12-16th october 2007.We booked the hotel as part of a package from Easy Jet. Our original room(208) was very good and we were even presented with a half bottle of champagne as it was our 10yr anniversary and a fresh fruit bowl a very nice touch we thought. 208 was clean, modern excellent facilites.with just a small window balcony looking onto the main road below, As the hotel was fairly quiet we upgraded for just 15euro per night to a room with a balcony overlooking the pool, (222)which was lovely to have breakfast on in the morning. This room was of the same excellent standard just slightly larger. Tv , cd , fridge safe all included in the price of the hotel as well. There was a bar , snooker table , 2 pools but wasnt sure they were heated and lovely outdoor terraces, in the summer it would have been lovely out there. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. We didnt have breakfast in the hotel as there was a supermarket 2 roads away and so we had fresh pain au chocolate and croissaintes from there and just got some coffee and tea from the hotel and ate on our balcony in the morning sunshine...bliss! The hotel is situated just to the rigt of the famous croissete only a 2-3 minute walk to the beaches and lovely shops. A shuttle bus stops outside for just 60cents you can travel easily to the gare scnf or hotel de ville where the bus station is reached. it also travels to the ports and beaches as well. So all in all, a lovely hotel, great value and service and would recommend to anyone looking for good accomodation for a good price! Would go back there in a flash! bon voyage!
