Welcome to the 4* superior hotel built in 1920 in the Art Nouveau style on the famous Wenceslas Square directly in the centre of Prague. The hotel consists of two parts as its name Ambassador - Zlata Husa suggests. The history of the first one is quite straightforward in spite of the history of the second one, which is a bit funny. The owner of the hotel was a rich widow, who had a young but extremely ugly and silly daughter. The daughter was already in the age for getting marry but in spite of her possessing she remained single. She had never got married and for all that she was known in Prague by the nickname'Golden Goose' (Zlata Husa). Tastefully furnished comfortable rooms are all airconditioned and have private marble bathrooms with jacuzzi bath and shower. All rooms are equipped with minibar, SAT TV, direct dial phone allowing conference calls up to six persons, fax, internet access, safety deposit box and hairdryer. Hotel is known for its great restaurants, cafes and bars, the Lobby bar, the luxurious Halali Restaurant, the traditional Pilsner Restaurant all offer excellent fare for discerning gourmet.
