Karlín is a great area in itself, and has become increasingly hip, akin to Greenwich Village in New York. Karlín is the heart of Prague’s cultural and business centres. It’s close enough to the centre to walk, but at night there are so many charming pubs and coffee shops in this green area, that you’ll probably just stay in Karlin. Vítkov Hill, is in this area, and is worth walking up for the breathtaking views of the City of a Hundred Spires.
