Residence Bologna offers 3 star accommodation at the heart of Prague Old Town, just a few minutes walk from the Old Town square, Charles Bridge and Wenceslas square. Close to the metro and tram stations Mustek and Narodni Trida.As you may have guessed by the name, the hotel has an Italian owner and he or his multi-lingual staff are always on hand to offer any help or advice visitors may need. Guests are accommodated in one of various studios designed for 2 people with single and double beds, an apartment which sleeps 4, a larger apartment with nice views which sleeps 5 and a suite with a covered terrace and views which sleeps up to 4 people. Breakfast is included in the price of the accommodation.All of the rooms are equipped with a shower, some with Jacuzzi, kitchenette, telephone, satellite TV, minibar and there is free wireless Internet connection in communal areas and in many rooms. If you need a secure parking place you can use the garage at the residence for 15 euro per night. Self-contained accommodation at the heart of the Czech Capital.

The staff at breakfast found it hard to tolerate children. My two year old son was told to sit properly - he was sitting with his feet tucked under him like most children his age do in order to reach up to the table. There were other remarks and looks given towards my son which infuriated me. He was well behaved so there was no need for this. I would understand if he was running around or making noise, but he wasn't. There is no bar at this hotel. My husband and mother went into their restaurant for a drink one night, thinking it would be okay as they were residence. However, the staff wouldn't serve them after one drink as they weren't ordering food. We were constantly left standing at the reception desk for ages before being given our key to get back into our room. The staff were too busy scratching their arses to look up and see what you wanted.It is a silly thing to give out about, but being pregnant, noticeably pregnant, i didn't appreciate standing around several times a day for a stupid key. However, the cleaning staff were really nice and friendly, and gave the rooms a good clean over each day.

Very new and modern. Have flat screen tvs and nice beds. Good breakfast too. Rate was less than I was quoted, which was a bonus.
