A solid, safe hotel The Hilton Prague Old Town is clean and modern, centrally located and an easy walk to many of Prague’s best sites. A bank and ATM are less than 1/2 block away. The personnel managing the concierge desk were exceptional. Complaints: the air conditioning was less than robust; we couldn’t seem to get the room below 72 degrees. The free business center needs more than two computers, especially since using an in-room internet/communication package runs about $35/day. Also, the charges for the minibar were ridiculous: 130 crowns or $7.80 for a bottle of water! Traveler's tip on dining A restaurant that would rival the best in NYC or Italy would be Ambiente, also known as Pasta Fresca. Outstanding pasta, bisteca and wine! Also, try Villa Richter, either the Czech or the French restaurant, both of which overlook the city.
