Good Hotel Take your walking shoes and walk - as long as you are fit and able, Prague is really accessible by foot.

Short Break to Prague Don't get a taxi to the airport.Very expensive. The metro terminates at a bus station where you can get the airport bus.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. I was in a room on the 4th floor and we had an entire balcony overlooking the city. The room was huge and very clean. The staff was more than helpful with phone cards, bus tickets and directions. I stayed in 8 different hotels in Europe and this was my favorite.

good location Use the trams they are excelent but buy your tram tickets at your hotel--date stamp them on boarding-- tickets are not sold on the trams --the fine for not having a validated ticket is expensive

1) The room service was not done properly. e.g. We did not receive new sheets although we had taken off the smelly pillow sheets and put them on the floor. We found the old sheets folded on the floor and our pillows without new sheets. It was late and we had to reuse the old sheets. 2)The staf at the reception was not capable of issuing a proper bill with the correct date. was not familiar with the computer system and it took half an hour to check out which caused me a delay for attending the conference. 3) the quality of breakfast was low, and the service was poor. Also was too crowded. It was not pleasant to have breakfast there.

great hotel, great location Great little bar just 200 metres to the left as you come out of the Hotel. Good beer and good selection of food. Cheaper than most places and open quite late. Not a noisy bar. Has a little garden just outside.

Comfortable, Great location We stayed for 5 nights at the Pyramida Hotel. It was very comfortable. The room was nice, very clean. No bathroom amenities other than shower cap and cotton disks. Great shower, though! Although I’d read in previous reviews that the staff was not nice, I didn’t find that to be the case at all. Good buffet breakfast of meats, cheeses, some hot foods, cereals and salads. Only problem there was to get to the breakfast room you have to walk through the smoking area - WHEW!!! Best of all was the location. Walking distance to Strahov Monastery, then from there to the castle. For those who don’t want to walk, the #22 and 23 trams stop right out front and go everywhere you need to go (or connect to any other transportation). Best of all, there’s a transportation ticket machine directly outside the front door of the hotel, making it all really easy! Traveler's tip on dining Other then the hotel restaurant, there are plenty of others within a short walk, including a very good brick-oven family-type pizza restaurant directly across the street.
