Mandarin Oriental Prague
Nebovidska 459/1 - 11800 Prague
Location. The Mandarin Oriental Prague features views of baroque churches and medieval spires and is housed in a 14th century monastery set on the banks of the Vltava River, 500 metres from the impressive Prague Castle. Prague Ruzyne Airport is 20 kilometres away and takes around 30 minutes to reach by car. Hotel Features. The hotel spa is situated in a Renaissance chapel that can be reached from the main hotel and guestrooms by an underground passage. Guests can enjoy health treatments such as hydrotherapy and water massage, and beauty treatments including facials and pedicures, as well as make use of the gym. Multilingual staff can assist with airport transport and limousine hire and assist with 24 hour room service requests. Secure garage parking is available for guests arriving by car (surcharge). A choice of EurAsian cuisine is served in Mandarin Oriental Prague's baroque Essensia Restaurant, framed with Renaissance vaulted ceilings and extending to five adjoining rooms. Dishes such as Confit of Rougie Duck Leg with Roast Turnip and Thyme Jus are made with seasonal ingredients and washed down with fine vintage wines. A selection of light snacks accompany cool Czech beers and bespoke champagne cocktails in the sleek, modern BaReGo bar. Guestrooms. The 99 air conditioned guestrooms and suites are located on five floors. All have contemporary decor and some have period features such as high vaulted or arched ceilings and polished parquet floors. Amenities include two LCD televisions with satellite channels, DVD players, multi line phones with voicemail, wireless Internet (surcharge) and minibars. All extend to limestone bathrooms with heated floors, bathrobes, slippers and aromatherapy oils. Expert Tip. Prague Castle, 500 metres from the hotel is the biggest ancient castle in the world. The castle buildings represent virtually every architectural style of the last millennium, including the gothic St Vitus Cathedra, the Romanesque basilica of St. George, a monastery and several palaces, gardens and defense towers. Most of the castle areas are open to tourists.

Mandarin Prague is a pearl! The hotel is in a great section of the city just a two minute walk from the St. Charles Bridge. The amenities, staff and accommodations are first class in every sense of the word. The hotel itself is a charming mix of the old (14th century monastery) and the new (luxurious rooms with totally modern features). The staff go out of their way to please. Take my advice and stay here!!! Traveler's tip on local attractions Unfortunately you have to carry quite a bit of cash in Prague as very few places take credit cards. Also, take in a concert at one of the many churches that offer them. They are relatively cheap and great entertainment as well as a respite from the tourist hustle.

a lovely and restful oasis minutes from everything I was extremely impressed with the staff, the amenities, the services and the atmosphere of this newly opened hotel. I sampled the spa services. Massage and pedicure specialists were both well trained and friendly. --loved the marble bath, the sumptuous pillows and bedding and the quiet of the rooms. I was greeted with a bowl of fruit, chocolates and a bottle of wine upon my arrival. This is the hotel for me in Prague. Next time I intend to dine in the hotel. This was the only amenity I did not try as I met with friends in different parts of the city for concerts and did not have time to dine leisurely in the beautiful restaurant.
