Leonardo Hotel

Karolíny Svetlé 323/27 - 110 00 Prague

Opened in 2004 the Leonardo is one of few hotels to open in the preserved Old Town of Prague. It is within easy walking distance of all Prague’s central attractions and some great local restaurants and bars. Guests enter a bright, modern lobby with wooden floors and a piano to one side of the reception. Although totally refurbished, a lot of the internal features of the original building have been preserved such as the heavy wooden beams and the wrought-iron balustrades. Bedrooms are all very comfortable and most have a kitchenette comprising a fridge and hob with both cutlery and crockery provided. Bathrooms are styled in marble with black, tiled floors. Some of the rooms are suitable for three guests, the third one sleeping in a good quality sofa-bed. A full buffet breakfast is served in a charming room in the cellar. The hotel also boasts a beautiful, Renaissance-style restaurant, serving an Italian menu. In the summer it opens up onto a terrace. For anyone wanting to stay in an atmospheric hotel in Prague’s Old Town the Leonardo is a great choice. NB. All rooms have en suite facilities

Lacking in some areas.... Service is outstanding and helpful. Location is very close to Charles Bridge as well as the old town square. The beds were very lumpy and uncomfortable. The hot water was non existent at night. The shower drain was very slow to empty. None of these complaints were fixed after 4 nights.

Free computer with internet access. We found a piece of plastic in the food. Rotten food at breakfast. The hotel charged $8 per minute for a phone call. The hotel car for transport to the airport charged more than the flat rate from the airport to the hotel.

A Gem in Old Prague A very fine hotel in an excellent location. Breakfast included and served from early AM till mid morning; high quality food and good variety. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Very high standard of service. Close to metro and a Tesco market. Traveler's tip on local attractions Prime location and early breakfast lets you get out and explore the old city, Charles Bridge and castle in the early morning to avoid the crowds.

Good hotel well located and reasonable quiet. Standard rooms were good, clean and spacious. Reception area is welcoming and receptionists are helpful. Restaurant is good and breakfast especially good. Friendly bar which serves food, again of good quality.

The Hotel is good for location, near Charles Bridge and historical Centre, and for the good relationship between price/ quality. Breakfast is really rich and good. There is a little garden very relaxing-
