The hotel is a little off the beaten track in a fairly recently restored building. The lobby is welcoming, with two lounges and a little bar. There's a lift, and our rooms were on the fourth floor. I had a single room and my parents a...

Loved the Hotel Julian....just right distance from the fray in Prague but close enough to walk everywhere.

Good friendly hotel I found the staff at the hotel to be very polite and helpful and all spoke English. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good a selection of cold meats, cereal, and cooked breakfast, and plentiful supply. You may find getting from the airport a bit tricky if you are catching the bus and tram, a tip if once you get off the bus you have to go down in to the metro and walk all away along the other exit ( a 3 minute walk) to catch the number 20 tram.

We splurged for most of our nights in Prague and stayed at this comfortable hotel. Our accommodations were light and roomy, with a private bathroom. Very helpful and friendly desk staff, with several amenities (fitness room, sauna, tanning bed,...

Well worth staying here Use the excellent tram system. Buy a daily or three day ticket and hop on and off the tram as often as you need to. They are fast, frequent, clean and easy to understand.

Worth the visit Try the local food, there are a number of local restaurants, in and around Mala Strana [10-15 minutes north of the hotel], who give the traditional Czech food a particularly appealing twist. Also try the Cafe Savoy, Vitenza 5; bit more upmarket but well worth the visit. Nothing to do with dining, but we would recomend having a hour long car tour, with a english speaking driver. Ours was a classic Skoda soft top, in bright purple. He was great and it was a good way to get your bearings.
