The 4-star Hotel Pod Lipkami in Prague is located in a villa dating back to 1924 which was originally a privately owned home and was converted into a family hotel. A pleasant atmosphere is created by its exquisite setting in the peaceful, green and residential Hrebenka quarter, close to both Prague Castle and the city centre.The eleven rooms are almost entirely furnished with Art Nouveau pieces from the nineteen-twenties while providing a full range of modern facilities (private bathroom, shower, WC, entrance hall, satellite TV, direct telephone line, room service). There are double rooms with either two single or one double bed in them, an additional bed can be added upon request. Breakfast included in the price. The hotel garden and terrace offer a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a coffee or an evening drink. Other facilities include a new sauna, relaxation areas and a private bar, all on the hotel premises. Within a two kilometres radius you can find four outdoor and two indoor tennis courts, an artificial ski slope, golf and mini-golf courses and the Strahov Sports Stadium, housing a covered pool and squash fitness centre. The nearby nature reserve with the historic Hvezda summerhouse offers cycling tracks and rental of skates. Natural surroundings very near to Prague city centre!
