The hotel is located just 100 meters from the railway tracks, where all the trains passing in the direction of Central Station. All the time we could hear loud trains! There was a water leak on the bathroom floor. After notification the leak has been corrected. Leaking water overflowed into the room where, after soaking the carpet smell released, which testified to a multiple of this phenomenon. Fungus on the floor, activated from the leak. The room (47) should not be shared with the guests! People coming to breakfast after 10 o'clock had very little choice, the stuff didn't make food anymore, and punctually at 10:45 all the left food has been hide, and hotel guests were thrown out despite unfinished breakfast!

We have just returned from a fantastic trip to Prague, which, unfortunately, meant staying at Hotel Nabucco. We booked a two-bedroom suite, a double and twin room, which turned out to be a double bed and a very uncomfortable sofa bed. The breakfast was disgusting, they served lukewarm, watery food and Nescafe coffee out of a vending machine. We returned at the end of the second day to find the room hadn’t even been cleaned, the beds weren't made, the fridge not replenished, and no clean towels. If you like walking through deserted, graffiti-ridden streets, then book this hotel. It's a good 45 minute walk to Wenceslas square and old town, and a 20 minute walk to the nearest tube. The staff we met was polite and friendly. Being quite seasoned travelers, it was probably the worst hotel we've stayed in. Three stars? Not on your life! One, two at a push.

Good Basic Hotel For the price we didn't expect The Ritz! However, we found it to a good basic hotel. Very friendly and helpful receptionist greeted us and the room was comfortable and clean. Nice firm Bed! No Air Con or Tea & Coffee facilities in room but bar was open all hours. Location is not brilliant, slightly run down area and be sure to get a rear facing room (very near railway). Trams to Old Town, (two places to get on within 5 minutes walk) easy, cheap and frequent and extremely reliable. Overall quite happy.

Maybe, maybe not Generally everything was in order, neat, newly refurbished, and clean. The accomodations are basic, but normal for this part of the world. The breakfast was very good with cold and hot foods. The biggest drawback is its location by a railroad track in a bad looking part of town. Unless you are an athlete don't bother trying to walk the hills to Wenceslas Square, take the tram. It is farther than you think. In warmer months when you need to open the window you will be disturbed by the trains. We took the suite room because it had space for a family of four as well as an enclosed area to park(10 Euros a night for the garage). We drove in from Budapest, a 5.5 hr drive. Very few places in this old city offer a secure garage and room for 4 at this good a price. Also there was only one ATM nearby to get money, but it was out of order. We were in a catch-22 situation. We could not buy a metro pass because we had no Czech money or change to put in the local coin operated ticket dispenser, nor could we go to Wenceslas Square to another bank/ATM because we had no ticket. Get a little money(exchange about 30 USD) ahead of time before arriving, especially if you arrive on a weekend. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the 24 tram stop (Otakarova)to take you to Wenceslas Square(20 minute tram ride). Trams are easy to use. Get a 24 hour ticket. The Hotel was hard to find in the dark as there are many serpentine one-way roads and the street name signs are hard to read.

Highly recommended All of the staff were most helpful, the receptionist explained places to visit, and booked taxis and restaurants with cheerfulness. We will certainly stay at the Hotel Nabucco if we can manage to get back to Praha again.

Great! Good hotel with incredibly helpful service. The location is not very central however which is more than compensated by the price. THe center is easily reached by tram 18.

Nice hotel This hotel is a little way out from the centre of Prague but a tram to Charles bridge takes about 15-20 minutes, with the nearest tram stops less than 5 minutes walk away from the hotel. The area it is in is somewhat run down but the hotel itself is well maintained and the staff are very polite and helpful.

A hidden gem Guide books recommend buying a 3-day pass for trams/buses etc., but I found that an 18Kc ticket, valid for 20 minutes, was sufficient to get to Charles Bridge, from where most main sights are within easy walking distance. The hotel also has its own taxi service to the airport for a set fare, which I found cheaper than most other options, and much less fuss than getting there on public transport - you pay at the hotel, too, so there's no hassle about prices when you get to the airport.
