typical budget hotel The reception staff were polite and attempted to answer questions and concerns to the best of their abilities. The hotel could use a significant make over, though everything was functional. It is an hour and half by foot to Old/New Town Squares, but across the street is a metro stop if one prefers public transportation, should cost about 300 czk by taxi from wenceslas square to the hotel if you decide on this option. The hotel seems to cater towards young European tourist groups, with teenage boys and girls running around at all hours. Fortunately, I can party harder than they can without the noise and disturbance of the peace,so it didn’t bother me much, however, someone in need of real "quiet time" might not get it from this hotel. This is a "no frills" hotel that offers reasonable accommodations and services for cost.

Not for mature adults Do not stay here unless you want ONLY barebones accomodation, no tv, no phone, and extremely spartan conditions

Not for mature adults Fortuna Luna is a converted Communist apartment complex now made into a hotel. It is filled with young European students. It is not at all appropriate for mature adults. This is one half step above a hostel. To say rooms are sparsely furnished would be an overstatement. One has to share a bathroom with another apartment. Nice people, fairly good restaurant, bad location, not at all recommended. Do not stay here unless you want ONLY barebones accomodation, no tv, no phone, and extremely spartan conditions

In the Middle of Nowhere & Not Recommended This hotel is far from central Prague, at least 1/4 mile from the nearest bus stop, and about 1/2 mile from the nearest metro (subway) station. Because I checked in on a weekend, reception did not have my pre-paid Expedia reservation. It took at least 1/2 hour to verify my reservation. I had a private room with private bathroom, a small tv set, and telephone. The elevator door would stick open repeatedly on my floor. I had to pull on the elevator door each time to close it. Breakfast was adequate. The hotel was filled with noisy, teen guests. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks Public transportation is available, with nearest bus stop about 1/4 mile away. Bus runs to Metro (subway) station about 1/2 mile away.
