Hotel Duo

Excellent service, and breakfast included This hotel is 2 bus stops away from the Ladvi station. From there, you can take the metro anywhere in the city. The service was great and the breakfast was delicious. The bed was a king and very comfy, although there were 2 single comforters on the bed instead of one. The only downside was the smoky entrance and lounge, otherwise was a great hotel and would definitely stay there again. It had us singing "hotel duo"! Traveler's tip on shopping Go to Tesco mall for great Euro Trash clothing. Also, must see the Vitus cathedral, St. Charles tower and bridge, and Prague castle.

WARNING: DO NOT STAY HERE! This hotel IS NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL! It’s 40 minutes from the airport, and out in the middle of nowhere, about 20 minutes from the city center of Prague. The hotel’s "free shuttle at your request" is not at your request. We often waited 45 minutes for the shuttle driver to pick us up. The entire hotel is very old, smells of dampness and mildew. The gourmet restuarant was not gourmet, in fact, the food was quite terrible. The staff was not pleasant, did not seem willing to assist us in anyway. Internet is expensive to use, and coffee and tea in your room is only for your first day. In fact, housekeeping did not even clean the used tea bags and creamer cartons at all, throughout our entire 4 nights there. Each day, housekeeping would bring new towels, and that was the extent of their cleaning. They even forgot to leave toilet paper one day. All of the dirty linens are thrown outside of the doors, into the hallway, making it difficult to walk through as you are trying to make your way out of the hotel. The entire hotel is old, dirty, uncomfortable, cheap, and no one is willing to make your stay better! DO NOT STAY HERE!

okay for the price If you are on a strict budget and not looking for luxury - this hotel is for you. Decent in all respects but I think it is more of a 3 star hotel. Pool and sauna - for extra charge. Massage, pedicure, manicure need days of advance scheduling. No tissues in the rooms. Bar, reastaurants - okay. Location is fine if you are comfortable with metro and other local transportation.
