Hotel is in a fantastic location below the castle and away from the busier and more commercial area on the other side of the river which is only a short walk away. Great views from the breakfast room. The two terraces, one with wonderful views across Prague, are a real bonus providing a relaxing alternative to your room. The room we had was spacious and luxurious. Although we had hoped for better views across Prague this didn't spoil our enjoyment of this hotel. Would stay here again if we were back in Prague.

One of the best hotels anywhere This hotel is charming, quiet, and comfortable, with the most concerned and attentive staff we have encountered in a long time. The restaurant is one of the best in Prague, with panoramic views of the city and wonderfully prepared meals. The location is in a quiet, safe neighborhood close to the castle, with easy access to the subway and tram systems if desired. We would not even think of staying anywhere else when visiting Prague. Traveler's tip on dining The restaurant at the Golden Well is superb, and the views are amazing. You should also try the Palffy Palace, a short walk away from the hotel, and V Zatisi on Bethleham Square. For less expensive but still excellent fare, we recommend the Orange Moon Thai/Burmese restaurant in Old Town. Finally, there is an charming and reasonably priced fish restaurant (whose name we cannot recall) on the south end of Kampa Island, on U Sovoych Mlynu.
