From the airport take bus 100 to metro station Zlicin. Take metro B to Karlovo Namesti and then tram 18 or 24 to Ostrcilovo Namesti. We bought one-day tickets at the airport. These are valid 24 hours. More information is available at pragueMore.info, and you can also see public transportation in Prague on the Google maps. The accommodation was better than what we expected. Brand new with more gear than we have at home. Location was very good. With trams 18 and 24 we were 5 minutes away from the Karlovo Namesti where we could get metro B. There is also a direct tram (18) to the Castle and Charles Bridge. There is a supermarket (LIDL) very close to the flat, virtually 2 minutes away on foot. Last thing to say it is a very quiet neighborhood. Our flat was on the 4th floor (without lift - good exercise). Appliances included cooker with hood, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and ... an electric kettle. Many glasses, plates, knives, forks and spoons were available, and there was one saucepan, one casserole and one frying pan (but we weren't here for cooking lessons). Alltogether it was a brilliant place to be. We also had very good (email) communication with the manager before arriving.
