Check the historic background of this hotel. It has a fascinating history and that in itself made our stay here 5 years ago significant. There is much left of the "old communist" style of building of which this was once a crown jewel...

We booked 6 months ahead and got an excellent deal. The hotel was very welcoming and clean.We arrived late evening so decided to get a taxi from the airport as it all seemed confusing to get tram etc. However public transport into main attractions...

We booked 6 months ahead and got an excellent deal. The hotel was very welcoming and clean.We arrived late evening so decided to get a taxi from the airport as it all seemed confusing to get tram etc. However public transport into main attractions was easy and cheap for our 3 day trip the tram station is literally outside the hotel doors. We highly recommend the hotel for singles or couples-probably not ideal for very young children travelling to main sites on public transport-but worth the little bit of inconvienience if you get a good price on your stay. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff they were friendly and helpful.The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Bathroom modern and clean. The breakfast was included on our trip and it was lovely-huge variety-beautifuly displayed and fresh really worth getting B&B deal.We had a relaxing stress free few days in this hotel.
