Best Western Hotel Pav

Kremencova 13 - 110 00 Prague

The Best Western Hotel Pav dates back to the year 1806, when it was called "U tri kosu" - "The house of the three black birds" according to the sign above the main entry. The hotel is ideally situated on the border of old and new town, right in the heart of historical Prague, just a few steps away from most of Prague's historical monuments. The well-known brewery "U Fleku" is in the neighborhood of the hotel. Travelers staying at Best Western Hotel Pav will find Wencelas Square and the National Prague Theatre within walking distance. The property was built in the early classicism style and has been fully renovated in 2006. The Best Western Hotel Pav has 89 very tasteful furnished rooms with satellite television, IDD telephone, complimentary WI-FI Internet access and safety deposit boxes.

Recommended A 24 hr tram card is incredibly cheap, and the rides through Prague a welcome change after pounding the pavements.

Hotel Pav A very nice modern hotel only five minutes walk from the river and easy access to all the sites. It was exceptionally clean, even in the public toilets. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend this hotel. The only downside is there is no air conditioning but we managed by opening the window at night. This was suficient even though it was very warm when we were there.

Strongly recommnded A great medium-priced hotel. Comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated; with pleasant, well-trained staff. Close enough to the tourist centres to walk, but far enough away to be not bothered by the tourist hordes.

Good Location If you like being close to attractions but with a little breathing room this is a great location. It's in a nice neighborhood close to many things within walking distance.

Would Definitely Return to this Hotel Hotel clean, comfortable, adequate breakfast (if somewhat small dining room) and excellent value for money. Ideal central location, easy walking distance to Wenceslas Square, Prague Castle, Old Town, Jewish Quarter, Astronomical Clock, Petrin Tower (all must see attractions). Intriguing, romantic city. Excellent public transport system although we didn't need to use it except for transfer from/to airport - No. 100 bus to Zlicin metro station, alight metro at Karlovo Namesti, couple of blocks away from hotel for just under £1.00 per person! Escalator at Karlovo Namesti Station is an awesome ride, too! So much more to see and do than our 4 day stay allowed. Eating out a pleasure - lots of inexpensive restaurants with great food, especially just off the main streets. Try the 'Botel' floating restaurant to the left of the Legii Bridge and the Cafe Louvre for hot chocolate drinks like no others. Would definitely return to Prague and to the Pav Hotel.
