This 3 star small romantic hotel housed in a classic Gothic building stands on one of the most famous streets in the heart of Mala Strana; the historic Prague neighbourhood which has been named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Most major tourist destinations are within walking distance. The metro station; tram and bus stops are all close at hand as are a number of other sites of local interest such as shopping areas and exhibition centres. The hotels newly refurbished rooms spread over three floors and an attic are cosy and comfortable and have a blend of both classic and contemporary styles. Aureus Clavis contains 27 rooms in all and among the amenities available in each room are free wireless internet connection and Satellite TV; a writing desk and a sitting area. Every room has its own bathroom which is equipped with a shower or bathtub and a hairdryer. Some rooms are large enough to accommodate extra beds or a baby cot which can be supplied on demand. Each room is of a different design and size and every room offers something special; whether it be an attic setting; wooden ceilings or beams; a lovely view of Prague Castle or a view over Prague Gardens. Rooms have well-lit work desks for business travellers; luxurious antique decor or plainer interiors for budget-minded tourists and comfortable lodgings for a family. Restoration of the building; which took place recently; has preserved the spirit and design of the original architects. There is a stylish lounge bar and a good restaurant. Above all there is the assurance of an attentive service and an atmosphere full of warmth and friendliness. Parking is available 1km from hotel at a charge. Additional Information; Children age 6 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children over this age will be considered an adult.
