Highly Recommended Take public transport from the airport into Prague. 15 quid for a taxi might seem like good value, it's not. You can do it for less than a quid. The service is regular, easy to understand and feels very safe. In fact, Prague public transport in general is great. Travelcards are really good value and you can get them for 24hrs, 2 days, 3 days or a week. Buy them at the airport, get the nice, friendly English-speaking man to explain everything to you and spend the money you save on beer...

Weekend break in prague Look for out of the way places to eat by consulting guide books. The restaurants in the tourist areas will be almost double what you will pay if you can find more out of the way places. Lesson learned by bitter experience! Italian places very nice.

Top notch hotel Can't find enough nice things to say about this hotel. From the staff, to the location, to the lack of language barrier (which could have been formidable) it was probably one of the most satisfying stays I've had anywhere. My wife and I traveled with our two and a half year old son and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel had taken him into consideration by supplying -- without asking, mind you -- a crib for him in our room as well as arriving at the airport with a car seat in our hotel transfer vehicle. The breakfast was more than adequate and the staff, again, superb. The area proved to be perfect for us as well since we lost luggage upon arrival and were forced to have to buy clothes. Thankfully, there was a three story mall around the corner which suited our needs just fine. If I had three thumbs I'd hold them all up.

This is a great hotel for people who want to pay a little (but not a lot) more for a very QUIET room that is super clean, nice, has AC (a real plus in the summer) and are willing to be a few more minutes away from the heart of Prague sight-seeing in order

Very impressed A lovely hotel. Not too far from Charles Bridge, but far enough away to be quiet. Breakfast included everything anyone could possibly want, and more! My only critiscm is that the staff tried a little too hard to please. They need to relax a little, especially at breakfast when they were taking plates away before you had actually finished. Maid service every day. Clean towels every day. A bright and modern hotel.

looking forward to return If you have a late flight and a few hours to kill there are two cinemas one next door to the hotel and one in the Andel shopping centre 100 mtrs away that show American/English language films (with Czeck subtitles) the film titles are in Czech but you can work them out from the poster adverts

Great Funky Hotel I loved this hotel, the decor is funky and bright, really modern. It's fairly close to two metro stations, just a couple of stops from the old town, and near to a big shopping complex which has a good Italian restaurant in the Food hall. I liked the hotel so much I'll look at other hotels in the Group for visits to other locations.
