Half the price of the hotels closer to the heart of the city, but only a short walk to the Metro station...clean, modern, well staffed with a good breakfast

Excellent hotel in quiet suburb but within easy reach of city centre It really is worth getting to grips with the public transport system. It is incredibly efficient and you can get passes for any number of days at a very reasonable rate which enables you to make unlimited journeys on the metro and the trams just by showing your ticket. It even includes the funicular to the top of Petrin Hill. The view from the observation tower at the top is stunning

Very Impressive Boutique Hotel As expected it is much more expensive to eat and drink in the tourist areas of Prague such as The Old Town or across Charles Bridge. Although it is lovely to eat in the Old Town Square at least one evening of your visit, try resturants further away from the main tourist area - perhaps near your hotel. I found these to offer delicious food/dishes at a fraction of the price. In particular you will find alcohol much cheaper. Most resturant staff are English speaking which is a great help.
