there was a renovation in the hotel during our stay, we could only park nearby on a courtyard for an extra fee of 200 CK / day

The hotel was a very pleasant surprise, right beside the exit from the metro, a beautiful large room with terrace. But the traffic noise made sleeping a bit difficult. Maybe using the air conditioning instead of opening the windows would solve this problem. The cost of rooms if you come in off the street was almost the double of the prices through Prague30, and would have been much too much for us.

The hotel was about a half hour walk from the old town square, it was clean and well kept. Bring your own toilet tres as the ones provided were horrible. The breakfast we never made for waking up too late, however, all in all it was the best value for the money..

Acceptable for the price If you’re just looking for a place to sleep for a low price, this hotel will do. However, there were a few negative points: * The room (at least mine) was very small, with a "twin" size bed (just big enough for one person) * There was no Wifi in the room (not sure if there is Wifi in the lobby) * The breakfast was not good The price was very good though, so I would recommend this hotel if you just need a place to sleep with no frills!

Would happily stay again Hotel Akcent has a great location to explore Prague. Stayed there for 6 nights. It was very easy to get there from the airport by public transport. After purchasing tickets, exit to the street, make a right to platform B and get into bus #100. Don not forget to validate tickets. Bus will take you to Zlicin metro station, line B. Once there board metro and get off at Andel station. Go towards the bus station exit, then look for the Akcent hotel sign. Up the stairs, you are right on the entrance. Girls at reception are very friendly and speak English. Rooms are on the 7th floor of building. My room was small but comfortable for me and wife. Pillows are very soft, but folding them will do the trick. Bathroom is excellent too with hair dryer and towel warmer. No wash cloths are available, bring your own. Mini bar and safe are also in room. Do not miss the breakfast buffet at restaurant downstairs which is excellent and included in the price. Hotel is two blocks from Novy Smichov shopping mall and close to various restaurants. Inside mall there are many choices to eat too. To reach the city center you can hop on tram#9 in front of shopping mall or just get the metro in front of hotel. Either way is fast. Almost everyday we got to hotel at night, and felt very safe walking the surrounding areas or coming from mall. Traveler's tip on dining On our last night, we ate at Restaurant Andelka. Is very easy to get there. Just exit the hotel, make a left and then another quick left around hotel. Just one block away in the corner is this excellent restaurant, with superb food and beer, friendly servers and nice prices. Enjoy your stay!

Great location for access to transportation The hotel had a reasonable cost along with great access to the metro (entry at the front sidewalk!), trams (only one block away) and buses (less than half a block away). Breakfast provided. Rooms good, not great, but with A/C and internet.

Good choice in Prague The room was clean, modern and exceptionally large, if a little sterile in decor. The staff was helpful and friendly. Although not in the center of town, the subway entrance right outside the front door made it very convenient.
