The room had enough space and the bed was very big and comfortable. The bathroom area could have been bigger.

Wonderful hotel - BEWARE THE THEIR TAXI SERVICE The hotel generally was very good. The condition and service could not be faulted, plus it's within a 10 minutes walk of the old town square. Also, the breakfast provided was very pleasant. The only black market however is the taxi service the hotel arrange for its clients. The hotel has an arrangement with a local firm who only run taxi services with inflated fixed rate fares, which are excessively high compared to recommended licensed firms. i.e. a taxi via the hotel to the airport was 900 crowns, but if you arrange a AAA yellow cab, which is the suggested city taxi service, the same trip is only 500 crowns. This is clearly a significant difference; therefore I recommend anyone staying at the hotel flag down a local AAA yellow cab rather than rely on the hotels in house service (black e-class Mercedes). Other than the issues with the cab service, the hotel was very pleasant and I would recommend it to anyone having a short stay in the city.

Modern Comfort 987 Design Hotel, Prague I spent 4 nites at 987 Design in June 2008. Conv. location, 10 min. walk fr. Old Town. Do take the Cedaz Bus(12 seaters) fr.the Airport; $9.00 usd with a Cellini Stop @in front of the Hilton, Marriott, which is approx. 12 min walk from 987. Cedaz Ticket Booth - p/u your luggage & walk out into the lobby, walk to your R, you’ll see the booth. ATM machines are located at the end of the same walkway (go pass Cedaz booth) Think of 987 as a smaller/compact version of W & you’ll be a happy camper. Friendly English speaking staff. Public Transport is great.

Nice, modern and clean If you opt for the breakfast buffet and don't want to smell cigarette smoke, don't sit in the first dining room next to bar. Smoking still allowed inside buildings. There is a second dining area. Pass through the buffet and you will see it.

reasonably easy to get to the centre of Prague fittings in bathroom tried to be too trendy, but were really quite cheap. Very expensive for what was offered. Valet parking was very expensive - about £35 a night, but absolutely necessary as nowhere else to park

Modern and Friendly We enjoyed staying at this hotel very much, and would defintely recommend to my friends. The room was clean and bright, the shower is powerful, and the Receptionist very friendly. Also the breakfast was good with a good selection of breads and cold cut. We have made a good choice!

Good for the value Very friendly and helpful staff in a good location on the East edge of Old Town. Tram stop is right outside and you are 15 min walk from the Old Town Square. One of the coolest things about the hotel is the "rain" shower heads.
