Ege Palas Hotel Izmir

Get an upper floor room facing the sea. The sunset from the room's porch is worth the trip by itself. The hotel part is very intimate and quite; service was perfect. Stay away from the topfloor bar unless your boss is picking up the tab; prices would make a NewYorker blush.

We were very pleased with our stay to this hotel. Rooms are spacious,clean and have everything someone needs plus a few extras that give pleasure. Staff very polite and good speaking english despite the low level of english spoken in the city.Excellent roof terrace bar where we were offered two drinks the first evening, great view of the city and the sea, same for the breakfast hall, by the way breakfast is very good. However, it's a little far from the main center Konak square (10 min drive) but it's close to the main shopping street. I would recommend it to everyone especially to businessmen.
