I went to the Bantur Naz in June, I am returning in two weeks time. I had a fantastic holiday. The hotel was clean, my room was fine (I've been in worse), the staff were just fantastic, they could'nt do enough for you, very attentive and the lad who cleaned our room every day was a diamond. Sure, the food is basic, but that didn't bother me. Sure, it's one drink at a time on all-inclusive but that's only rotten if you have to wait ages at the bar each time you go up and that certainly was not a problem when I was there. I would say that it is not for kids, and there is some lively roads and bars nearby - you have been warned. Me, I loved it.

We have just returned home from the bantur naz hotel we found the hotel to be very clean, the rooms are a bit basic but we had a lovely cleaner who kept everything spotless. The staff are very friendly and aim to please. We went on a all inclusive basis there was no problem with the drinks infact there was times when we had to stop them filling the glass to much, need i say my husband loved it. The food was fine evening meals was the best. I would not recomend this hotel for the younger generation or children as there is no entertainment for them, We would return to the bantur naz if we ever go back to turky.

We had an absolutely fantastic holiday in Bodrum, the Bantur naz was a cheap hotel so worth the cash. The rooms were basic, the pools an facilities were excellent, the staff were friendly but with english people there is a little bit of a communication problem... German people tend to get served first, get drinks brought to them all day without asking. If you ask, there isnt a problem though, you don't get refused any food or drink. You can have whatever you want to eat or drink all day which is really good; pizza, pasta, salad, burgers, etc in the day... but the evening food was not very good. We went literally two minutes down the road to the beach and harbour and ate out EVERY NIGHT! The restaurants are FANTASTIC,(there are loads to choose from) really cheap, they serve pretty much anything you can think of or ask for, the staff speak perfect english and are so welcoming, really chatty, and let you off if you dont have enough money, give you free drinks, etc... (they should have these guys working in the hotel!). We liked eating out even though we were all inclusive, we could chill on the beach, watch the sun go down, get served by really nice people, eat really nice food, drink what we want an pay £30 ish(for 2 people). Rather than being stuffed up in the crowded hotel resaurant with horrid food. But even if the food is OK... still treat yourself and go out, the area is lovely, for the money you might as well eat out in a lovely atmosphere. (The picture I have inserted is of the view from the restaurants) Bodrum is brill for cheap fake clothes etc, but DONT get roped into paying a lot, no matter how forceful they are! We got a pair of jeans down from 160 lira to 20! Girls be prepared to be looked at walking around in your bikini, an everyone be prepared to be dragged into shops an restaurants. You have to have a bit of confidence and know-how, and turn around and say 'NO WE'RE NOT INTERESTED!!' I would really recommend going to the bantur naz definitley, the area was great, everything accessible, we had a really good chilled out hol, hotel was nice, weather amazing... not one single regret, one of the best holidays we have had!!!

firstly i must say bodrum is the place to party after you have drunk mr bantur naz out of house and home (im sure you must have seen him round the place with his huge st bernard ) nasty animal. the hotel was a great base to get around for exploring and partying.go for a fish bowl in the golden plate and see sammy he will look after you.you must go on a boat trip and watch the sun set its great.if you dont have problems with any funny foods you will be just fine here coz the food is very wiered and (german) and there is many of those around but beat them to the pool as we did its fun. we met some really nice people dave and rob if you ever read this im sure you will have a laugh about it. this is not the place for kids as nothing to do only get drunk and party. found the entertainment very basic but all you have to do is go to bar street for that but please wait till 11 after you have had all the free drinks that mr bantur naz will allow coz he will be watching you.and the cleaner is a star too stayed 14 th july till 21 st 2006 and would go back xx

i took my partner and 4 kids to the bantur naz in july, i have been all inclusive before in turkey but my partner hasnt, from my past experience i convinced him this was the way to go. little did i know that THE BANTUR NAZ wouldnt know all inclusive if it jumped up and bit em on the butt!! we were like second class citizens from the word go, our rooms were basic but this we didnt mind, but the lack of towels and toilet paper we did!! i had to go and ask for these to be provided. the food was ok and served by day by the pool area we were always asked for our id cards even though after a couple of days they knew who we were. the bar area was ok but when we went to order drinks we were told we could have beer, gin or vodka , no cocktails, baileys or any other spirits were available to us, when i asked for a staw we were told we couldnt have one as we were not paying!!!! even tho we had paid all inclusive prices to start with. at 11pm the bar was closed to all inclusive guests and we had to pay, even tho we were a little angry at this we thought we would have one last drink before heading to town ( the kids are all teenagers, we are not child neglectors, just thought i had better add that) this we paid for and without asking we had lovely glass with no chips in them and STRAWS!!! no offence to German people but they were treated completley different to us and before you think im paronoid we were out numbered 5-1!! so all in all if you are teetotal, dunt like getting showered or wiping yer butt, or infact German dont bother with the bantur naz, you,ll only be dissapointed!! oh and to cap it all there is a great big bloody dirty st bernard dog called simba that hangs round the food and scares all the kids. Enjoy peeps. ps Turkey Is lovely i have been twice before and enjoyed it, all inclusive, if you go to bodrun check out the Golden Plate Restaurant on the front, great nights to be had, say hello to Rash from me!!

I personally witnessed the waiter and barman watering down the mayonaise and replacing it on the pool dining area tables WITH TOWN WATER!!. Added to that, thirty years drinking experience told me that the drinks were also watered down. Is it any wonder so many people fall ill there?. I do agree with most other average reviews on this page, eg clenliness of the small and tired dark rooms also the place does have great views and clean pools but because of the health worries (i was ill for two days) I and my wife would never go back to that hotel again. Regarding turkish staff in most hotels.....sure theyre great...if you tip them enough upon arrival (with the exeption of the cleaning staff who are tipped upon leaving)...if not...beware!.

Thank goodness I was able to go with an open mind! If I had only concentrated on the poor reviews we would have felt we were going to have an awful time, completely the opposite, it was brilliant. We arrived very early morning to be greeted by an English speaking receptionist who ensured our bags were carried to the room, yes there were a few steps however this was not a problem to ourselves. The room was small and extremely clean, however we were not expecting to spend any time in it except to sleep. we didn't need anything more. Breakfast was plentiful, typical Turkish continental style, well we were in Turkey! I do not understand when reviews comment that the food was not English, you are in another country, its not going to be! The pools, yes there are 2 to choose from, were clean and seen to be well maintained. We were able to get sunbeds every day without any problems, due to the Hotel only having 107 rooms and 2 pools there were plenty for everyone. Lunch was available from a menu and freshly cooked for you, this was served to you, no queing, drinks were served to you at the table and once our glass was empty they were asking if we wanted more. There was one particular waiter that always knew what we wanted! The Staff are all really helpful, always looking out to see that you have what you want, everyone from the waiters to the chef who was cooking the dishes each night. Dinner had a different dish cooked each evening out on the patio, these were very popular, with other dishes available from the hotplate. Salads were the same each night however plenty of variation to choose from. There was no entertainment in the evening, we were able to talk and enjoy the atmosphere created by the waiters and the other staff. The location was also excellent for a quiet family holiday as it was not within the main town, but close enough to walk to within 5 - 10 mins. This was downhill and would be difficult for the older traveller coming back. The views from the Hotel are excellent, looking over towards Bodrum Castle. This was overall one of my best holidays.

We have just returned home from an all-inclusive week at the Bantur Naz Hotel in Turkey. Our room was basic but clean ( after all you don't spend your holiday in your room! ). The staff could'nt do enough for us, they were all friendly and polite and most of them spoke reasonable english, the food was excellent but could do with a bit more choice. The hotel is situated near a road and a noisy bar but it does warn you that Bodrum is a lively town in most brochures. We would recommend this hotel to anyone, as we had a great time.

The Bantur and Naz Hotels were what we expected very basic but clean. The staff were friendly and helpful,we got by with the english. There was a lack of hot water in a morning as this was solar powered if it was a dull day water soon ran out in an evening Food was basic and a lot of the cold buffet was often recycled to the next day. Smaller quantities should have been put out and replenished when required, there was a lack of refrigeration for the cold food and as for the hot inside buffet this left a lot to be desired, food was not temperature controlled as it would be on a servery in the UK, therefore open to stomache upsets. Often the hot buffet had no heating at all and was just chilled. There was a fresh cooked buffet outside chicken on this was undercooked. There was not a problem with the all inclusive alcohol was freely available. but we did agree with others that the wine was being watered as well as other spirits. Another problem in the resturant area was the cats this was not very hygenic with them around your legs when you are trying to have a meal, also getting bitten by fleas on the lower part of the legs. But after all Bodrum was a good place to holiday. If you want the best have a meal at the Golden Plate Cafe Bar on the front food is out of this world well worth a try and cheap to back home. We went out with Kosmar never never again the worst tour operator ever with no customer service quality. Really we were more worried about the tour operator than the Hotel until we got there. Bantur Naz is in an ideal situation for the centre and the night life, beach and bars. There are some good day trips from the area. Jimmys bar is just down the road the staff are a pain in the neck always out touting for business, its get past if you can in the evenings without being stopped. The pools at the Batur Naz were clean and well kept there was no problems over loungers. We are looking forward to a return trip to Bodrum but will not use the Bantur Naz or Kosmar Tour operator again.
